In a world sometimes plagued with sadness, it’s comforting to welcome an album designed to keep us on our toes. In recent years, the Grammy winner has embraced a more assertive role in the studio, aiming to create more Grammy-winning albums, and be remembered as one of the greats in music production.  The release of Ain’t No Damn Way coincides with a co-headlining North American tour with Justice, beginning on October 16 in Vancouver.  The tour will conclude on November 16 in Miami.

Kaytranada was destined for greatness

Kaytranada first rose to prominence in 2010 under the alias Kaytradamus, releasing mixtapes and remixes. In 2012, he changed his moniker to Kaytranada, gaining wider recognition after his viral remix of Janet Jackson’s hit “If” in 2013. His debut album, 99.9%, was released in 2016, and featured collaborations with artists such as Vic Mensa, AlunaGeorge and Anderson.Paak.

Recieving critical acclaim, the album won the Polaris Music Prize in 2016, and Electronic Album of the Year at the 2017 Juno Awards.  Ain’t No Damn Way is available on multiple streaming platforms.
