Glasses With a Chance of Delinquent anime cast and staff
The teaser introduced these voice actors, per ANN:
- Hiroto Shimizu as Dan Ichikura
- Suzuko Hara as Hiro Momose
- Yuma Tomochika as Ohana-chan
Makoto Hoshino, whose credits include “Banished from the Hero’s Party” and “The Little Lies We All Tell,” directs at Studio Flad and Wao World. Megumi Shimizu writes the series scripts, and Ruriko Watanabe designs the characters. That trio also worked together on both of those earlier shows, according to ANN.
What the story is about
Momose is a high schooler who just wants a quiet, drama-free school life and plans to steer clear of troublemakers. Then she gets to know Ichikura, a soft-spoken boy with black hair and glasses who seems perfectly ordinary. The catch: he was a notorious delinquent in middle school, and his temper still flares even as he insists he’s reformed.
The manga behind the anime
Creator Naruki began the romantic comedy in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend magazine in January 2021. The 11th collected volume came out in Japan on May 13, 2026, according to ANN.
English readers have two options. Kodansha’s K Manga app publishes chapters digitally at the same time as Japan, and Seven Seas Entertainment handles the print edition. Seven Seas released Volume 7 on July 14, 2026.
The anime adaptation was first announced in April 2026, Crunchyroll reported.
What’s next
More cast members and a specific premiere date are likely as April 2027 gets closer. An international streaming partner has not been named.
