The Daily Drop — Your Dose of Celebs & Pop Culture: April 27, 2026
From trends to tea—we’ve got you covered!
Monday’s daily Drop walks in acting like they’ve got their life together, but we all know the truth. Monday is just Sunday wearing a blazer, pretending it didn’t spend the whole weekend ignoring notifications and eating cold leftovers straight from the container. The week is stretching awake, cracking its knuckles, and deciding whether it wants to behave or spiral. And honestly, same.
Celebrities, meanwhile, woke up today and said, “Let’s get emotional, let’s get chaotic, and let’s remind everyone that fame is just regular life with more lighting and louder consequences.”
Between Jonah Hill explaining why he ditched Los Angeles to raise his kids somewhere quieter, Megan Thee Stallion breaking down onstage hours after announcing her split from Klay Thompson, and Gabrielle Union opening up about how Dwyane Wade has supported her through the grief of losing her father, today’s Drop is tender, messy, and deeply human.
Jonah Hill Reveals Why He Left L.A. to Raise His 2 Children with Wife Olivia Millar

Jonah Hill is done with the Hollywood circus, at least when it comes to raising his kids. According to People, during a live taping of the “SmartLess” podcast, Hill explained that he and his wife, Olivia Millar, moved to “a very small town in San Diego” three years ago to give their children a life far away from paparazzi and industry noise.
Hill gave a shout-out to Millar during the taping, saying, “So real quick, before we go any further, my wife is here. My best friend. Shout-out to my beautiful wife, Liv.” He went on to describe their new community, adding, “My neighbors are incredible people… they never treat me weird or ask me about my job or anything.”
Hill made it clear that the move was intentional, saying, “I wanted to leave L.A. and raise a family outside of Los Angeles.” It’s a reminder that even A-listers crave normalcy, quiet, and neighbors who don’t ask what Jonah Hill is really like.
Megan Thee Stallion Cries on Stage Following Moulin Rouge! Performance After Announcing Klay Thompson Split

Megan Thee Stallion had a rough one. Hours after announcing her split from NBA star Klay Thompson, she performed in “Moulin Rouge!” on Broadway and broke down in tears during the curtain call. According to People, the rapper became emotional as the cast and audience cheered her on, visibly overwhelmed by the moment and the weight of the day.
During the performance, Megan reportedly held it together, but once the show wrapped, the emotions hit hard. A source told People that the day had been “incredibly difficult” for her, and the onstage tears were a release after trying to stay composed.
Breakups are brutal enough without having to sing, dance, and high-kick under stage lights. Megan showed up anyway, proving that even Hot Girls have days when the mascara wins.
Gabrielle Union Shares How Husband Dwyane Wade Has Been Supportive After Her Father’s Death

Gabrielle Union is opening up about grief, love, and the kind of support that doesn’t need to be flashy to be powerful. In an interview with People, Union shared how her husband, Dwyane Wade, has been by her side following the death of her father, Sylvester Union. She explained that Wade has been “incredibly supportive,” giving her space to grieve while also grounding her when the emotions become overwhelming.
Union said Wade has been “a steady presence,” helping her navigate the emotional waves that come with losing a parent. She emphasized that his support has been quiet but constant, the kind of partnership that holds you up without making a show of it.
It’s a reminder that behind the red carpets and glam, real life still hits hard, and love still matters most.
