DevGAMM Awards 2026 revealed 70 nominees for its third annual ceremony Thursday, and the list leans small. The nominated games come from 25 countries, and more than half were made by teams of five or fewer developers, IGN reported.
What was announced
Judges narrowed the field from a record 1,088 entries submitted by 987 teams in 80 countries. Among the nominees are Fabled Game’s “Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage,” up for Best Mobile Game, and GameChanger Studio’s “1998: The Toll Keeper Story,” which is competing for Meaningful Game.
Winners will be named Nov. 18 at 1 p.m. ET during DevGAMM Lisbon in Lisbon, Portugal. IGN, the event’s official streaming partner, will carry the show live on IGN.com and its YouTube channel.
What it means for fans
Viewers tuning in to the DevGAMM Awards 2026 ceremony can expect more than a trophy show. IGN said the broadcast will also break news, with exclusive game reveals and big updates mixed in between the awards.
Prize money is also on the line for developers. Scorewarrior is putting up $100,000 in cash across the main categories. Sponsored categories add more than $40,000, with backing from the Epic Games Store, Unreal Engine, tinyBuild, Unity and Godot.
What’s next
Tune in Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) on IGN.com or IGN’s YouTube channel to see which of the 70 nominees take home a trophy.
