Bobby Flay is gushing about his relationship with girlfriend Brooke Williamson. According to People, the Beat Bobby Flay host told the magazine on Tuesday, Sept. 29, that his romance with the fellow chef is “amazing” and the pair share deep compatibility.
“We have so much in common,” Flay, 61, said. “We have a lot of the same goals, and some of the goals are differing, and it’s so nice to be able to bounce things off somebody like Brooke because she really knows what she’s doing in her own right.”
Bobby Flay and Williamson’s Shared Passion for Cooking
The couple‘s shared passion for food is a cornerstone of their connection. Flay and Williamson, 48, frequently cook together in their kitchen and appreciate each other’s culinary skills.
“We both cook at home all the time. I love when she cooks,” Flay told People. “Listen, it’s so nice to have somebody that does 50 percent of the cooking in my house. I went from 100 percent to 50 percent very quickly, but it’s perfect.”
Flay particularly enjoys Williamson’s breakfast dishes, which he described as “comforting.” He has also learned from her approach to food: she grows much of what they cook with, while Flay handles the kitchen side of their farm-to-table meals.
“I cannot grow anything. My girlfriend, Brooke, really takes care of the garden,” Flay said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in August. “She’s from L.A., so she really loves the whole gardening scene, but I’m terrible at it. She just picks everything, and I cook everything.”
A Serious Commitment
Flay is taking the relationship seriously. He gifted Williamson a diamond ring and has referred to her as his “life partner,” signaling a major milestone in his romantic life.
The couple’s romance began in March 2025, years after they met in 2022 on the set of Flay’s reality TV competition show Bobby’s Triple Threat. Williamson was in a previous marriage to Nick Roberts, whom she was with from 2007 to 2024, and they share a son, Hudson. Flay has been married three times before: to Debra Ponzek from 1991 to 1993, to Kate Connelly from 1995 to 1998, and to Stephanie March from 2005 to 2015.
