Why High Noon Matters
High Noon is Blondie’s first studio album since 2017’s Pollinator, a decade after the previous record. The band, pioneering new wave in the late 1970s and early ’80s, ruled the charts with eight Top 40 hits, including four No. 1s: “Heart of Glass,” “Call Me,” “The Tide Is High” and “Rapture,” regarded as the first No. 1 to feature rap.
