Twilight of the Dead Wraps: Exciting 4-Star Cast Revealed
Filming has wrapped on Twilight of the Dead, the film based on a treatment George A. Romero wrote before his 2017 death, according to Dread Central. The shoot took place in Kentucky in September.
Twilight of the Dead cast and crew
Kate Beckinsale leads the cast. Betty Gabriel, Abigail London and John D. Hickman also star. Doron and Yoav Paz, the brothers who directed The Golem, are directing, and Greg Nicotero is handling special effects. Nicotero began his career working with Romero on Day of the Dead.
The film is set on a devastated Earth where surviving humans are caught between warring factions and a changing undead threat. Romero’s estate, represented by his widow, Suzanne Romero, supports the project.
Beckinsale replaced Milla Jovovich, and the Paz brothers replaced Brad Anderson, who had been attached earlier. The project was announced in 2021.
