Noah Kahan Draw You Out is out now, the lead single from The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping soundtrack, released Oct. 2.

Kahan co-wrote and co-produced the song with Aaron Dessner for the film, uDiscover Music reported. They recorded it at Long Pond Studio in New York and at Gold Pacific Studios and East Iris Studios in Nashville.

Noah Kahan Draw You Out release details

  • Single: Oct. 2, 2026
  • Soundtrack album: Nov. 13, 2026, through MCA
  • Film: opens in theaters Nov. 20, 2026

The soundtrack has 29 tracks, and Kahan’s song is No. 27, according to Dork. Dave Cobb is executive producer.

What inspired the song

Noah Kahan Draw You Out follows a young Haymitch Abernathy as he leaves for the 50th Hunger Games and says goodbye to Lenore Dove, according to Just Jared.

Kahan called the project an “insane opportunity” in an interview with Billboard. He said music is a “massive part” of the Hunger Games world. He also said that while the song is sad, listeners should not expect something heartwarming.

Kahan’s fourth studio album, The Great Divide, debuted at No. 1 and stayed there for three weeks, uDiscover said. He is touring in support of it.
