The Tsubomi shutdown is scheduled for Nov. 30, SEEC announced. Tasokare Hotel: Tsubomi will end its mobile service while its story continues on note and pixivFANBOX.

The developer’s official Japanese notice sets out three changes for players.

1. Tsubomi shutdown ends app access

Content updates ended Sept. 30. Paid-item sales stopped at noon Oct. 1. Service closes at noon Nov. 30.

Installed copies may still open afterward, but their content will no longer be playable. Store downloads will also end.

2. Refunds have an earlier cutoff

Applications run from noon Oct. 1 to 11:59 a.m. Nov. 30. Use the app’s Other menu and refund-request option.

Paid items remain usable after sales stop, but submitting a refund request prevents their use. Check the in-app instructions for the account’s eligible paid balance.

3. The unfinished story will continue

The Tsubomi shutdown leaves its app narrative incomplete. SEEC plans to publish the remaining main story, card stories and new illustrations on note and pixivFANBOX. Its notice links to the official accounts.

SEEC warns that the schedule may change. Follow its announcements as the Tsubomi shutdown approaches.

A separate game in the series

The franchise also includes Tasokare Hotel Re:newal. SEEC announced that game’s Steam release Jan. 23, 2024. It includes the mobile edition’s main and special stories, adapted so that progressing through the narrative does not consume stamina.

The PC version omits cleaning, gacha, archive and related side features. SEEC’s launch announcement lists Japanese voice acting and text in Japanese, traditional Chinese and Korean. Re:newal is a separate release, so readers should distinguish it from the Tsubomi mobile app when checking store listings and service announcements.
