Fans of “Stranger Things” are excitedly looking forward to the final season and the finale that is sure to be epic. But recent rumors reveal that the finale may be coming later than previously expected.
“Stranger Things” Finale
The expectation was for “Stranger Things” Season 5 to arrive on Netflix in two batches, but an apparent leak on X (formerly Twitter) shows three volumes instead of two.
So, we’re looking at volume 1 in October 2025, volume 2 in November, and then volume 3 in 2026. That stretches things out longer than we thought. Maybe it’s a good thing since it delays the inevitable end of a favorite series. We have a little longer before we say our final goodbyes to these characters. But it does make the wait for the finale frustrating, too.
We’ve all gotten used to being able to binge our shows and getting them at a regular interval. It’s going to be rough waiting between releases!
This has not been confirmed by Netflix yet. We expect to get the official release dates May 31 during the annual Netflix Tudum event. The event will stream live. We should also get updates on “Emily in Paris” and “Squid Game” Season 3.
“Stranger Things” is also expected to have an animated spinoff called “Stranger Things: Tales from ’85.” There aren’t any details available on what to expect from this series yet. And we don’t have a release date. It is expected only after the “Stranger Things” series has had its finale.
Wrap Up
We’re all looking forward to finding out what happens to our favorite characters in Hawkins. Waiting is difficult, but we’re here for it either way. The final season won’t let us down, we’re sure of that. Stay tuned and we’ll share updates as soon as we have them!
