Daily Devotion Monday Motivation with Total Apex Media | December 8, 2025

Happy Monday, everyone. It’s time for your daily devotion. Our Psalm 34 series is soon ending, but the word is intensifying. David has talked about God’s awesome protection, provision, and deliverance. God not only cares about you spiritually, but also physically. He cares about your total being.

20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. 21 Evil shall slay the wicked, and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

In your daily devotion, thank God that He cares about your spirit, soul, and body.

He Keeps All His Bones

God cares about your body’s physical health and wellness. 3 John 2 says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” God isn’t just interested in you prospering spiritually, while your physical body is unhealthy. Jesus came teaching, preaching, and healing, and Scripture records that multitudes were healed under His ministry.

Isaiah 53:5 says that “with His stripes we are healed.” Trust that it’s His will for you to be healed today. Receive it by faith, as you walk with Him.

Not One is Broken

Verse 20 also has a prophetic element, as it looks centuries ahead to Jesus on the cross. It was customary for Roman soldiers to break the legs of crucified individuals to speed up their death. However, discovering Jesus had already died, they didn’t break His bones. John 19:36 declares, “For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.” God gave David a prophetic utterance about the bones of Jesus that would come to pass in the fullness of time.

Evil Slays the Wicked

There’s a misconception that God is the bad guy who swoops in and rains down punishment on those who do evil. Actually, the deeds of evildoers catch up with them at some point. And they begin a downward trajectory. Proverbs 5:22 says this: “His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be held with the cords of his sins.” In other words, the wicked’s evil deeds ensnare them.

Rejoice that you have a merciful God who desires that you avoid evil. In today’s daily devotion, declare that you will walk in God’s righteousness.

Those Who Hate the Righteous

As wonderful as you may be, some will hate you because you’re righteous. 2 Timothy 3:3 confirms some will despise good people. But don’t let anyone’s hate trouble you. Remember that God loves you and He has ordained good things for your life. In the story of Cain and Abel, the earth’s first brothers, Cain hated Abel because he was more righteous. In your daily devotion, say that regardless of others’ actions, God is with me!

Shall Be Desolate

When people attack others, it’s a sign that they are spiritually lacking. And whatever desolation they seek to inflict on others will be their own downfall. Remember, there’s no reward for the wicked. It may seem they’re happy as a lark, skipping along today. But living apart from God will not lead to a desirable end. However, at any time, they can repent to a God whose love and forgiveness can put their lives on a better path.

In this daily devotion, give God praise that He has abundant blessings for you, and you’ll never be desolate.

Conclusion

In your Monday daily devotion, think about how great it is that you have a God who’s concerned about you physically as well as spiritually. And He has made healing available to you through Christ. Shout to God in today’s daily devotion that His word is always true, and He takes care of you.
