Poker Face Season 2 Episode 8: The Sleazy Georgian
Just when you think you know the formula of a show, they throw in something so different that you can’t help but love it. That’s what happened in Poker Face Season 2 Episode 8.
The episode title refers to the name of a con pulled by a con artist and his team. They’re doing it frequently and, when they try it on Charlie, it fails miserably. That’s because Charlie knows that Guy (John Cho) is lying. And he’s so impressed that he decides to invite her to join his team.
Charlie has a lot of questions. She’s a good person and doesn’t like to see people hurt. And these people make a business of stealing from unsuspecting visitors to a hotel bar. Guy justifies their actions, but Charlie isn’t buying it, even if he does believe what he’s saying.
No spoilers here because this episode is just too good to ruin it for you. Go watch it for yourself.
