International superstar Rosalía will release her fourth studio album on Friday. At only 33 years old, the Spanish singer has already been nominated for 296 major awards worldwide, winning 88, including two Grammy Awards, 11 Latin Grammy Awards, a Billboard Latin Music Award, and four MTV Video Music Awards. The new album was recorded with the London Symphony under conductor Daníel Bjarnason. It includes guest appearances by international artists like Björk, Carminho, Yves Tumor, and several others. Lux takes its inspiration from Rosalía‘s romantic relationships and her relationship with God, and it explores themes of feminine mystique, transformation, and transcendence.
Finger Eleven — Last Night on Earth (Better Noise Music)

Canadian rockers Finger Eleven return this Friday with Last Night on Earth, their eighth studio album. It is the band’s first album of new music in ten years. Following an eight-year hiatus, the group began working on their Greatest Hits album in 2023. The project refueled the band’s creative juices, and they decided that it was time to get back in the studio. Last Night on Earth was Finger Eleven’s most collaborative effort yet, with everyone getting together in person, writing, and making decisions and revisions together. The result was a focus on big, rich, full sound, even on softer songs. The Black Sabbath-influenced lead single “Blue Sky Mystery” was released on August 1st.
DJ Snake — Nomad (Geffen)

On Friday, Award-winning French producer and EDM artist DJ Snake releases his first album in six years. Nomad, his third studio effort, is said to offer a blending of musical styles and cultures, featuring songs in French, English, and Spanish. While most of the details on the album have been kept under wraps, collaborations with J Balvin, Travis Scott, Future, and Stray Kids have been announced.
Mavis Staples — Sad And Beautiful World (ANTI-)

R&B, Gospel, Soul, and Blues singer Mavis Staples is still going strong at 86 years old. She is a four-time Grammy winner and Rock and Roll, Blues, and Gospel Hall of Famer. Sad and Beautiful is the 14th solo album for the former member of the Staple Singers. It will feature a mix of new originals and updated versions of classics of the American songbook. Sad and Beautiful World will include collaborations with artists like Bonnie Raitt, Buddy Guy, and Jeff Tweedy.
Kings of Leon — EP #2 (Love Tap/Virgin)

After putting out their ninth studio album last year, alt-rockers Kings of Leon are back with a 4-track EP. Oddly enough, the EP, the band’s sixth, is titled EP#2. The four-time Grammy winners that made smash hits out of “Sex on Fire” and “Use Somebody” have been posting little sneak peeks on their official Instagram account for weeks in the lead-up to Friday’s release. The four brothers (Caleb, Jared, Matthew, and Nathan) Followill have not given up much info beyond snippets of the songs and some studio photos, but they did give out the track listing: 1) All the Little Sheep, 2) To Space, 3) Pit to the Rind, and 4) The Wolf.
