The Spectacular “Hazbin Hotel: Live on Broadway” Burst on Amazon Prime Video
“Hazbin Hotel” is one of the most prominent sensations in our world right now. This musical animated series follows the princess of Hell working to redeem Sinners. Unfortunately, her efforts constantly meet much resistance, especially from Heaven’s leaders and armed forces. And the ongoing Season 2 showcases her trying to stop a war.
Last month, a Broadway show celebrating the series and signaling the upcoming season premiered. A recent trailer revealed it’s coming back very soon, except on a different platform. What is this new outlet, and when is this live performance returning?
Redemption Comes With Room Service
“Hazbin Hotel” is an animated tale centered around redemption, with Charlie Morningstar taking center stage. She strives to save condemned Sinners from Hell by redeeming them into Heaven. To pull this off, Charlie has repurposed an abandoned hotel into a rehabilitation center. And she has an array of supporters, including her girlfriend Vaggie and Radio Overlord Alastor.
Season One showcases Charlie doing everything possible to make her hotel work. She’s, unfortunately, on a time crunch with the upcoming Extermination happening sooner than usual. Everything leads to an epic battle against Adam and his bloodthirsty Exorcist army. In Season Two, Charlie learns redemption is possible and strives to prove it. She also must prevent a war against Heaven, instigated by Vox the Media Overlord.
“Hazbin Hotel: Live on Broadway” Returns
“Hazbin Hotel” snuck onto Broadway this October in the concert “Hazbin Hotel: Live on Broadway.” It took place at New York’s renowned Majestic Theater for one night only. Erika Henningsen hosted the event and joined in on performing various songs from Season One. Other Hazbin stars, like Blake Roman, Jeremy Jordan, and Christian Borle, also performed. The occasion ended with a special premiere of Season Two.
This month, the concert is returning to entertain the fanbase once again. The difference this time is that it’ll be coming to Amazon Prime Video. And the best part is that it will be happening very soon.
Additionally, a trailer heralded the return of this spectacular occasion. It featured someone in a Vox costume, likely Borle, traveling throughout New York City. The sneak peek ended with the TV-headed Overlord attending the Broadway show. Overall, the return of “Hazbin Hotel: Live on Broadway” will be a delightful treat. Especially since the Season Two two-episode finale is right around the corner.
Final Thoughts
“Hazbin Hotel: Live on Broadway” returning to stream on Amazon sounds mind-blowing. It will give fans who were there a chance to relive that one magical night. And offer those who didn’t the opportunity to experience what they missed. Plus, it’ll serve as the perfect precursor to the source show’s upcoming Wednesday season finale.
Personally, I never had the chance to experience the “Hazbin Hotel” concert firsthand. I know I would’ve loved to see the voice actors perform their iconic songs. And witness all their funny on-stage shenanigans in person, even for one night. Luckily, I’ll get the chance to do both this Monday, November 17.
