“Camp Rock 3” Set to Rock Disney Channel and Disney+ Summer 2026
Well, it is time to find your old camp t-shirts and warm up your vocals, because we finally have confirmation that “Camp Rock 3” is officially on its way! Disney just dropped the first teaser, and to say we are feeling a wave of nostalgia would be a massive understatement. It feels like reuniting with an old friend you haven’t seen in years, and honestly, we are so ready for it.
Here is everything we know so far about the return to our favorite musical summer camp.
The Teaser That Broke the Internet
Disney just released the first look at “Camp Rock 3”, and they knew exactly how to hit us right in the feelings. The teaser doesn’t just show us new footage; it takes us on a walk down memory lane. We see glimpses of the glistening lake, the famous dining hall where so many iconic “We Rock” moments happened, and yes—even the canoe from the first film.
Set to the tune of “Wouldn’t Change a Thing” (cue the tears!), the clip features voiceovers from the original films, reminding us of the magic that started it all. But the moment that really had us screaming? Seeing Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas standing by the lake.
“Music, friendship, memories,” says Nick. Then Joe delivers the line that gave us chills: “We’re back. Exactly where we’re supposed to be.”
And for the die-hard fans, there is a perfect little easter egg at the end where Kevin Jonas quips, “Still no birdhouse,” referencing his character Jason’s hilarious request from the very first movie. It is those little touches that tell us this movie is going to be made with a lot of love for the original fanbase.
What Is “Camp Rock 3” About?
So, what brings Connect 3 back to the woods after all these years? The plot sounds like the perfect mix of high stakes and classic camp drama.
According to the synopsis, the story picks up when Connect 3—the fictional band played by the Jonas Brothers—suddenly loses their opening act for a massive reunion tour. Desperate to find a replacement, they return to their roots at Camp Rock to discover the “next big thing.”
This sets the stage for a serious showdown. The campers aren’t just singing for fun; they are vying for a life-changing spot on tour with the band. We can expect tensions to rise, friendships to be tested, and plenty of unexpected alliances. And, of course, it wouldn’t be Camp Rock without a little romance thrown in the mix.
The Cast: Familiar Faces and New Stars
We know the question on everyone’s mind: Who is coming back?
We are thrilled to report that the Jonas Brothers are reprising their roles as Shane, Nate, and Jason Gray. Maria Canals-Barrera is also returning as the beloved Connie Torres. While we didn’t see Demi Lovato in the physical lineup in the “Camp Rock 3” teaser, she is serving as an executive producer alongside the Jonas Brothers and Tim Federle, ensuring the heart of the franchise remains intact.
But “Camp Rock 3” is also about passing the torch. The movie introduces a whole new generation of campers who are ready to rock. The new cast includes:
- Liamani Segura as Sage, a bold and determined singer.
- Hudson Stone as Desi, Sage’s easygoing brother.
- Malachi Barton as Fletch, the resident camp “bad boy.”
- Lumi Pollack as Rosie, a cello prodigy.
- Casey Trotter as Cliff, a drummer who marches to his own beat.
- Brooklynn Pitts as Callie, the “choreo queen.”
- Ava Jean as Madison, an intimidating influencer.
- Sherry Cola joins the cast as Lark.
With characters ranging from a cello prodigy to an influencer, it sounds like the dynamic at camp is going to be modern, fresh, and full of personality.
When Can We Watch “Camp Rock 3”?
You have a little bit of time to practice your dance moves. “Camp Rock 3” is scheduled to premiere in Summer 2026. It will be available on both Disney+ and the Disney Channel.
It is rare that a reboot or sequel manages to capture the magic of the original, but with the original cast heavily involved in the production, we have high hopes. It seems like the perfect opportunity to gather the family—or just your best friends from high school—and have a movie night.
Summer 2026 can’t get here fast enough. Until then, we will be re-watching The Final Jam and perfecting our “Brand New Day” choreography.
Until Then…
