Lorde has announced her Ultrasound World Tour to support her new album, Virgin, which she announced just recently. The Lorde tour will include support from several other artists on various dates. Read on for everything we know so far!
The Lorde Tour
The Ultrasound tour kicks off September 17. It begins at Moody Center in Austin, TX. She’ll perform in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Seattle, Toronto, and a number of other cities. After leaving North America, the Lorde tour will go on to France, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden.
The Lorde tour will be joined by Blood Orange, the Japanese House, Nilüfer Yana, Chanel Beads, Empress Of, Jim-E Stack, and Oklou on select dates.
Tickets will be available on Lorde’s website starting May 14 at 10 AM local time for the presale. The general sale starts May 16. The singer posted to social media:

The Music
The Lorde tour comes after the July 27 release of her fourth album, Virgin. She’s already released and has been promoting the first single, “What Was That.” She has also shared the album cover, and she had this to say about the album, “THE LANGUAGE IS PLAIN AND UNSENTIMENTAL. THE SOUNDS ARE THE SAME WHEREVER POSSIBLE. I WAS TRYING TO SEE MYSELF, ALL THE WAY THROUGH. I WAS TRYING TO MAKE A DOCUMENT THAT REFLECTED MY FEMININITY: RAW, PRIMAL, INNOCENT, ELEGANT, OPENHEARTED, SPIRITUAL, MASC.”
She is best known for songs like “Royals” and “Green Light.”
