Krispy Kreme has rolled out a limited-edition Halloween doughnut collection built around Looney Tunes characters, and the chain’s annual Krispy Kreme Halloween costume doughnut offer is back alongside it. Anyone who shows up at a participating Krispy Kreme in a full costume on Friday, Oct. 30, or Saturday, Oct. 31, can get a free Original Glazed or classic ring doughnut with no purchase required.

The new lineup comes from a partnership between Krispy Kreme and Warner Bros. Discovery, timed to the theatrical release of the Looney Tunes movie “Coyote vs. Acme.”

What’s In The Looney Tunes Halloween Collection

The collection features four flavored doughnuts, each tied to a different Looney Tunes character. The Bugs Bunny Doughnut starts with an unglazed shell filled with chocolate dulce Kreme, then gets red dulce icing, chocolate drizzle, black bat-shaped sprinkles and a vampire-themed sugar piece.

The Taz Doughnut also uses an unglazed shell, this one packed with Oreo Cookies & Kreme filling and topped with chocolate icing, crushed Oreo pieces, neon green icing drizzle and a mummy-themed sugar piece.

Lola Bunny gets an Original Glazed ring treatment, finished with a purple buttercreme-flavored swirl, sparkling gold star sprinkles and a witch-themed sugar piece. The Tweety & Sylvester Doughnut rounds out the set as an Original Glazed ring dipped in candy corn-flavored icing and covered in yellow, white and orange confetti sprinkles, with a sugar piece depicting both characters.

Where And How To Buy Them

Krispy Kreme is selling the doughnuts individually, in a custom Looney Tunes Halloween Specialty Dozen, or bundled with a second box of Original Glazed rings for anyone looking to stock up for a party. Fresh 6-packs are also shipping to select grocery chains and retailers, including Publix and Kroger, throughout October, according to Mashable.

The collection is a limited run and will end after Halloween night, so the doughnuts will not stick around on menus once the holiday passes.

Costume Offer Dates And Rules

The free doughnut promotion is Krispy Kreme’s annual Halloween costume offer, and this year it lands on the same two days as Halloween weekend: Oct. 30 and Oct. 31. Guests need to show up in a full costume at a participating location, and the free Original Glazed or classic ring doughnut comes with no purchase necessary, per Mashable.

Participation can vary by location, so fans planning to swing by on either day may want to check with their nearest shop ahead of time to confirm it’s taking part in the promotion.

What’s Next

The Looney Tunes doughnuts and the costume freebie are both tied to the Halloween calendar, meaning the window to grab either one closes once Halloween night ends on Oct. 31. Shoppers interested in the grocery store 6-packs have the rest of October to find them at participating Publix and Kroger locations before the collection wraps.
