Jeep Confirms Renegade Return in Europe by 2030

Jeep Confirms Renegade Return

Jeep announced the Renegade return as part of a six-model European product push revealed at the Paris Motor Show during the week of Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026. The next-generation Renegade is set to arrive by the end of 2030, according to Motor1.

The Renegade has sold more than 610,000 units in Europe since its 2014 launch and will now get a next-generation model, even as Jeep exited the U.S. market after 2023.

What Jeep Announced About The Renegade’s Return

Jeep confirmed the next-generation Renegade will launch by 2030 as part of a broader plan to field up to six models across Europe by that year, Motor1 reported. The original Renegade has been on sale since 2014 and remains Jeep’s smallest SUV offering.

Electrification will play a major role in the next-generation Renegade’s future, though specific powertrain details have not been announced.

What The Six-Model Push Means For Fans In Europe

The expanded lineup is built to cover the B-, C- and D-SUV segments, a strategy Jeep says will reach about 90% of Europe’s SUV market. The Avenger already anchors the B-SUV segment with nearly 300,000 units sold, while the latest Compass has strengthened Jeep’s position among compact crossovers.

The all-electric Recon will lead Jeep’s push into the D-SUV segment, with another new model set to join the lineup in 2028. Jeep is also committing to a 4×4 version for every model in its European range, a move that keeps off-road capability central to the brand’s identity even as it expands model count and electrification.

Background On The Renegade’s U.S. Exit

Jeep stopped selling the Renegade in the United States after the 2023 model year, citing declining sales and a broader shift toward larger, more popular segments. The European relaunch signals the brand sees different demand dynamics overseas, where the B-SUV segment the Renegade competes in remains a larger share of the market.

The renewed European focus fits a wider pattern at parent company Stellantis, which has outlined plans to expand its lineup across brands heading into 2030.

What’s Next For The Renegade And Jeep’s European Lineup

Jeep has not announced a specific debut date for the next-generation Renegade beyond the end-of-2030 target, and no technical or powertrain specifications have been released. The automaker’s next confirmed step is the 2028 arrival of the additional D-SUV model that will join the Recon in that segment.
