Rockstar Games has revealed the in-game radio stations for Grand Theft Auto VI, confirming that Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey, Morgan Wallen, Robyn and Burna Boy will each host a station when the game launches Nov. 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The GTA 6 radio stations lineup pairs each headliner with a co-host, filling out a roster that spans Latin, country, pop, Afrobeats and rap.
The announcement, reported by Consequence, lays out six stations total, giving players a broad mix of genres to choose from while driving or walking through the game’s world.
Who Is Hosting The GTA 6 Radio Stations
Bad Bunny hosts Cocoteo FM, a modern Latin-focused station, alongside co-host RaiNao. Lana Del Rey and Morgan Wallen share hosting duties on Back Country Radio, a station Rockstar describes as “renegade country.” On air, Wallen performs as “MW” and Del Rey goes by “Delta Dawne,” according to Stereogum.
Del Rey’s husband, Jeremy Dufrene, also joins the station as a character the outlet described as Delta’s “not-so-secret lover Mud Dog Mike.” Robyn hosts Flash FM, billed as the game’s “best in pop” station, with Alex Consani co-hosting. Burna Boy leads AfroBank FM, a station centered on African music, alongside Palms Trax.
Two additional stations round out the roster. Slayer members Kerry King and Tom Araya host The Chamber 106.6, a classic metal station, while Trick Daddy hosts Dirty South Classics, a regional rap and hip-hop station, with Trina co-hosting, per Pitchfork.
What The Lineup Reveals About GTA 6’s Music
The hosting assignments give an early look at how broadly Rockstar is casting its musical net for Grand Theft Auto VI. Consequence reported the soundtrack includes songs from Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Keith Richards, CA7RIEL & Paco, and Future. Pitchfork reported the game’s soundtrack runs 34 songs total, including original tracks from Travis Scott, Yung Lean and PinkPantheress.
RaiNao, who co-hosts Cocoteo FM, described the station as a reflection of Latin culture. “Cocoteo gets our vibe, our slang, our taste, our pride, our experiences, our traditions, and all our crazy antics,” RaiNao said, according to Stereogum. “It feels incredibly special to lend my voice to GTA VI and do it in the best way possible: having fun, embodying a character who’s like me, and putting our culture, our music, and our people in the spotlight.”
RaiNao added that GTA was previously one of a favorite game. “Diving around in a stolen car, blasting music with all that adrenaline pumping was THE VIBE. It’s mind-blowing to know that I’ll now be part of that experience.”
Both radio stations and the game’s new podcast offerings will be available through vehicle radios and through headphones or earbuds connected to the smartphones of protagonists Jason and Lucia, according to Consequence. Rockstar is introducing on-demand podcasts for the two leads alongside the traditional radio format, a first for the series.
Background On The Artists Involved
Stereogum reported that Del Rey has been working on a country album titled “Stove” and has previously sung with Wallen on an unreleased song debuted at the Stagecoach Festival, context that lines up with their shared role on Back Country Radio. The source material does not include direct comments from Bad Bunny, Del Rey, Wallen, Robyn or Burna Boy about their hosting roles.
What’s Next For GTA 6
Grand Theft Auto VI is set for release Nov. 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Rockstar has not detailed which specific songs beyond the Back Country Radio samples will air on each station ahead of launch.
