LCK 2026 Playoffs T1 Versus Dplus KIA Review: T1 Level Up To Destroy DK
Dplus KIA’s win over KT Rolster booked them a ticket to the World Championship. Now they turned their focus to the LCK. They had to get past T1 to progress further in the LCK Playoffs. However, they did not succeed. T1 shut the door in DK’s face. While DK had moments, T1 looked inevitable. The only game that T1 lost was more of a throw than DK earning the victory.
LCK 2026: Seven Drakes To End the Game
Smash started the game perfectly with two kills on Peyz. T1 swapped Peyz to the top lane to avoid the matchup. Both Doran and Siwoo died during the swap. Eventually, Peyz picked up first blood, the tower, and equalised the gold.
T1 controlled the mid-game. They moved around the map better, earning picks and towers. The gold increased to 3k. However, T1 never increased the lead beyond that.
DK clawed back some of the gold. They lived T1’s engages and punished Doran and Keria. With Oner and Doran in bot lane, DK rushed the Baron. The Baron allowed them to break open the last outer towers. DK had finally gotten a gold lead back.
The game went to the seventh Drake, without a soul for either team. Lucid and Siwoo went into the pit. Siwoo died, and Lucid lost his Guardian Angel. Oner smited the Drake, but they lost Peyz’ Guardian Angel. Faker died, but Oner and Peyz connected onto Smash. He died, allowing T1 to clean up the fight. ShowMaker tried to defend, but T1 bullied their way to a game-one win.
LCK 2026: DK Steals the Game From the Jaws of Defeat
T1 had the better early game. Faker died twice, but Doran secured a solo kill on Siwoo. T1 also won the first Drake fight, giving Peyz a significant gold advantage. T1 continued their momentum, but they could not break open the game.
Much like game one, DK’s picks clawed them back into the game. Smash landed arrow after arrow to stop T1’s plays. Over time, DK cut away at the gold lead. However, they could not stop T1’s Drake stacking.
DK had a slight gold lead for the Hextech Soul fight. Lucid died early, giving T1 the Soul. DK went 2-for-2 in the fight. With little wiggle room remaining, DK forced Baron. They caught Faker, and the rest of T1 fell. With Lucid and Career holding Peyz in mid lane, DK ended the game.
LCK 2026: DK Over Force Fights
T1’s early game is almost perfect. Keria found an early timer to help Doran get the first blood kill. Despite Oner dying early in the bot river, Peyz and Faker turned the fight.
Lucid steals the first Drake, and DK turns the fight. DK earns two kills to one, shifting the gold lead in their favor. Smash’s roam punishes Doran’s trade with Siwoo. DK takes the bot tower and Rift Herald.
DK make back-to-back mistakes on the second Drake. Lucid dies first. Instead of leaving, the rest of DK try to fight back, but they falter. The lead goes back to T1.
Oner dies once, and the lead shifts after DK destroys the mid-tower. For the second time in a row, DK fights one by one. It ends up being a two-for-three trade. However, Faker was pushing top lane throughout the fight.
T1 snowballed after the third Drake fight. DK threw everything at Peyz. He lives in fights. With all the pressure on Peyz, Faker is untouched. DK does kill Peyz and Faker in separate moments to earn shutdowns. Both kills go to Smash.
T1 pulls DK to the Baron. Career dies on the face check. They kill Siwoo before returning the Baron. ShowMaker dies to Faker, and T1 kills most of DK. Only Lucid lives while T1 ends the game.
LCK 2026: One Fight is All T1 Needed
The two bot lanes battle early for first blood. Smash survives long enough, which prevents the bailout on Peyz. Smash dies alongside the T1 bot lane.
DK keeps their lead consistent. Even with T1 diving Siwoo, they do not get the gold they want for Peyz. At least, Peyz is even in gold with Smash. T1 tries to recover after stealing the Rift Herald. Siwoo dies, and T1 pushes for an advantage. Keria ults the wrong way, and Peyz goes in. He kills Lucid, but gets nothing else. DK stays with a 1k gold lead. Further kills on Faker and Peyz in separate plays extend the lead to 3k.
T1 finally finds the fight they were looking for. DK thinks they have the advantage after Peyz uses Fate’s Call. Instead of backing up, Peyz and Keria go forward. T1 wins the fight and takes the Baron. T1 breaks three towers and earns themselves a 3k gold lead.
Even when Peyz dies, T1 stands strong and keeps the snowball rolling. T1 needed one more fight to end the series.
