Grace looking at the Level 3 ID control panel in Emily room in Resident Evil Requiem

One puzzle type in Resident Evil Requiem that takes you quite a while to complete is unlocking doors with security clearances or doors that need keycard access. This all happens during Grace’s gameplay portion of the game, and finding all the wristbands and keycards you need will take quite a while to do. Here is a full guide to finding all 3 security clearance wristbands and both keycards in the Care Center in Resident Evil Requiem.

Keycard Locations

West Wing Keycard

One of the first items you’ll obtain when you enter the Care Center is the West Wing keycard, which is located in the Medications Room. You obtain the keycard after a cutscene, where you meet Emily for the first time, and you’ll be able to pick up the keycard from the corpse in the room.

East Wing Keycard

After exploring the West Wing a bit, you’ll end up at the Chairman’s Office. This room holds a lot of items and clues to solving puzzles, including a Unicorn Trinket box that, upon further examination, you can open and will hold the Red Jewel, which opens the door to the Parlor.

The Parlor is one of the most important rooms in the Care Center. It holds the shop where you can use Antique Coins to purchase important items for Grace, like the hip pouch, injectors, and the blood collector manual, which increases the capacity of the blood collector. You’ll also obtain the East Wing keycard in the Parlor. You’ll find a severed arm by a corpse lying on the ground by the bar, and the keycard will be in his hand.

Security Clearance Wristband Locations

Level 1 Wristband

As you explore the Care Center in Resident Evil Requiem, you’ll encounter many locked doors and rooms that’ll need keycards or wristband access to unlock them. Obviously, the first wristband you’ll be able to use will be the Level 1 Wristband, which you’ll be able to find after unlocking access to the East Wing of the Care Center with the East Wing keycard.

The Level 1 Wristband can be found on the 2F of the East Wing, past the Lead Researchers’ office. When you make it to the office, turn right down the hallway, and the wristband will be on a dead researcher’s wrist. However, before you can even pick it up, Chunk will appear and chase you down the hallway.

He’s really easy to evade because he is so slow; however, he’ll be roaming around the hallways in the East Wing, making a whole lot of noise, causing much distraction. As soon as Chunk makes his way downstairs, you can loop him nd go back upstairs to obtain the Level 1 Wristband. Here is a list of the doors the Level 1 Wristband can open:

  • East Wing 1F: Blood Lab
  • East Wing 1F: Waiting Room Closet
  • West Wing 1F: Filing Room
  • West Wing 1F: Custodian’s Office

Level 2 Wristband

The Level 2 Wristband requires a lot of steps for you to obtain access. You’ll be able to find it in the 1F East Wing Examination Room, and it’ll be on the wrist of the corpse on the examination table. You need to reanimate and kill the corpse to get the wristband, and to do this, you need to collect an Artificial Heart and Artificial Lungs, which you’ll then implant into the corpse.

To obtain the Artificial Heart, you need to:

  • Grab the Wrench from the Custodian’s Office and return to the West Wing 1F.
  • Use the Wrench to pry open the door to Cold Storage, and the Artificial Heart will be inside.

This part requires a lot more steps to it. To obtain the Artificial Lungs, you need to:

  • Receive the file that tells you how to open the Organ Transport Box in the Lead Researcher’s Office.
  • Go to 1F of the West Wing in the Garage and pick up the Organ Transport Box.
  • Use the file you have to solve the Organ Transport Box puzzle. Examine the box and do the following:
    • Turn the dial from “Auto” to “Hand.”
    • Raise the right-hand switch until it’s exactly in the middle level of the gauge.
    • Press switch #5, then switch #2, so that they’re both lowered.
    • Flip the dial back from “Hand” to “Auto.”
  • Rotate the container, open the box, and retrieve the Artificial Lungs from inside.

The only doors you can open with the Level 2 Wristband are the Isolation Ward and the Security Manager’s office.

Level 3 Wristband

The Level 3 Wristband is probably the easiest to obtain. When you gain access to the Security Manager’s Office, there will be a corpse at the desk. Inspect it, and you’ll obtain the Level 3 Wristband. The wristband will open Emily’s cell and the room next to hers in the Medications Room. You’ll need Emily to solve the last puzzle box to obtain the Star Quartz, which will open the front door of the Care Center.
