Resident Evil Requiem – All Safe Locations and Combinations Full Guide

Now that Resident Evil Requiem has released, players are already finding themselves faced with puzzle after puzzle during their playthroughs. I know I’ve definitely gotten stuck a few times, having to backtrack and reread notes you find throughout the map, even to complete one part of the puzzle. But it wouldn’t be a Resident Evil game if the devs didn’t challenge us.

One such challenge comes in the form of small safes scattered throughout all the maps of the game. Each safe holds some pretty valuable loot that’ll give Grace an extra edge to help her survive the horrors she’s caught up in. In total, there are five different safes you can find and open throughout your playthrough. Here’s a full guide to locating and unlocking all the safes in Resident Evil Requiem.

All Safe Locations and Combinations

Safe # 1 Bar and Lounge

The Bar and Lounge safe is located in the 1F West Wing, behind the bar. The bar will have a few zombies roaming about, as well as a singing zombie that has a screaming ability, which can disorient Grace, throwing off her aim. I’ve found that if you can line up the zombies, including the singing zombie, before you even enter the bar and lounge, you can take them all out with Requiem, saving yourself some ammo.

Safe # 1 Bar and Lounge Combination

To find the combination to this safe, first you must find your way to the Office in the West Wing. The initial path involves unlocking a door you find at the end of the Parlor corridor. To open it, you must have the ID Wristband (Level 1).

Go up the stairs across from the Custodian’s Office to reach the second floor. The first door you see takes you to the Office. The document containing the safe code is on the desk in the office. The combination to this safe is 10 to the left, 80 to the right, and 30 to the left, and this safe will give you 3 Antique Coins.

Safe # 2 Examination Room

The examination room will be on the 2F East Wing. This is where you’ll find the Hemolytic Injector, which you’ll be able to use on the doctor zombie in the examination room.

To find the combination code for this safe, go toward the west side of the map, heading to the Conference Room. Turn right before entering to get to a small room with multiple lockers covered in blood. The document explaining the safe combination can be found on top of a fallen locker inside. The combination to this safe is 30 to the right, 10 to the left, and 50 to the right, and this safe will give you another 3 Antique Coins.

Safe # 3 Basement

The Basement safe can be found in the room above Processing on the west side of the Care Center’s Basement. You’ll gain access to the Basement after the Big Baby boss battle. This area is teeming with zombies and is probably one of the scariest places in Resident Evil Requiem.

Safe # 3 Basement Combination

This combination is a little difficult to find because there are some conditions you need to meet to open this safe. Before you can open the safe, you’ll be playing as Leon. Only Leon will be able to find the combination, and only Grace will be able to open the safe.

Leon will find a warped cabinet in the attic right after the Big Baby fight, and inside it will contain the note with the combination code for the basement safe. Afterwards, you’ll switch to Grace, locate the safe, and use the code 60 to the right, 40 to the left, and 80 to the right, which will give you 8 handgun ammo and the Raccoon Roundup Map.

Safe # 4 Sterilization Chamber

The Sterilization Chamber is one of the first rooms you explore in the Ark. To get there, follow the hallway to the right of the Lab Entrance. The safe will be right on top of the white cabinets in the room. This area is teeming with Lickers, so it’s recommended that you fight and kill the Licker inside the Sterilization Chamber.

Safe # 4 Sterilization Chamber Combination

The Sterilization Chamber safe code is found inside an open container, located at the bottom of the stairs from the Lobby. The note will be on top of some storage boxes in the hallway. The combination to this safe is 10 to the right, 90 to the left, and 20 to the right, and this safe will give a Molotov cocktail, one med injector, and 15 handgun ammo.

Safe # 5 Monitor Control Room

This is the last safe you’ll discover in Resident Evil Requiem, located in the Monitor Control room, which you can access after you unlock the Lab Entrance door. The safe will be on top of some white cabinets towards the back of the room.

The combination to the safe can be found in Bioweapon Repository 05. The note that contains the code can be found inside the open container in the middle row on the right side of the room. The combination to this safe is 50 to the left, 60 to the right, and 80 to the left. This safe will give you one bottle of acid, one empty bottle, and one med injector.

Some things to note about unlocking the safes are that you’ll only be able to open them when you’re playing as Grace, and that opening the Basement safe requires you to do some pre-requisite work as Leon to obtain the code to that safe. As per Resident Evil fashion, resources are scarce, so you’ll want to invest your time in gathering as much loot as you can to fight boss battles and those annoyingly notorious Lickers that you’ll encounter later throughout your playthrough.

Resident Evil Requiem Is Out Now

Resident Evil Requiem is out now on all platforms. It launched a couple of days ago and has already smashed records. Longtime fans, as well as newer players to the series, are thoroughly enjoying their playthroughs of this highly anticipated horror gem in such a beloved series.
