New information from the carnage points to a deeper conspiracy across 15 new areas. These new locations bring about new entities and choices that shape the story and outcome of the North Wing. Search for clues, files, logs, anything that can point you in a direction that can explain what’s been going on. And, more good news, folks! We finally get to see the SCP-049 quest arc come to fruition as well!

New Tech! What’cha Get?!

Okay! New areas and monsters mean we’re getting some new gear that can impact gameplay. One such item is the Wrist Device. This nifty device allows you to traverse vertically, horizontally, or through otherwise impassable areas. You can bypass obstacles and approach threats from different angles, adding flexibility to exploration and encounters. In style, of course.

Another new gadget is the Reality Anchors. These stabilizing devices alter fragmented realities caused by SCPs within the base, helping to protect you from the dangerous effects of reality distortion. However, both tools can have unintended effects if not used carefully, so strategic use is important.

Thankfully, our new guide has some medical experience, as doctors allow us to make it through disease-ridden areas. The developers want to make the gameplay more challenging by introducing an infection system. If you get hurt or severely injured, you’d better have some disinfecting spray and some clean gauze in hand.

New Chapter, New Story, New Systems, Oh Yeah!

The first chapter let us settle into Site-113 and introduced us to the locals (SCP neighbors). We went sightseeing and had a blast with some near-death experiences. Now, the gloves are off, and we’re diving into the pit. What’s even better? Chapter 02 will be available to download for FREE on Apr. 3, 2026! So make sure you wishlist this on Steam and indie.io.store and don’t miss out on all the fun!
