LoL Esports Week 5 Results Recap: Gen.G Esports Qualify For First Stand

Gen.G qualifying for First Stand as an LCK seed

Gen.G Esports secured their spot at First Stand last week. They are the first team in LoL Esports to do so in 2026. Expected LCK representatives T1 faltered and will not have a chance to qualify for the first international event of the year. Elsewhere, G2 Esports is reestablishing themselves as one of the best teams in the LEC after a disappointing regular season. The LPL and LCP return this week, following a break due to the Chinese New Year.

As for the LCP, their playoffs will conclude next week. The winner of the Grand Final will be the only LCP representative at First Stand.
