LCK Cup 2026 Playoff Week 2 Results: Gen.G Qualify For First Stand While T1 Are Eliminated

LCK - League of Legends Champions Korea in LoL Esports

Dplus KIA managed to pull off the upset of the week in the LCK Cup. Not only did they beat T1, but they managed to reverse-sweep the series. The World Champions will not be in Hong Kong and will miss out on First Stand. Gen.G Esports managed to secure their First Stand spot following their victory over FearX in the Upper Bracket Final.

Of the four LCK Cup Playoff matches, we predicted the winner for three of the four series. The only winner we missed was DK defeating T1. Of the three correctly predicted winners, only one match had the perfect score as well.

DN SOOPers 3-1 DRX

Total Apex Prediction: DNS 3-1

DRX had a lackluster start to the series. It appeared that DN SOOPers would run away with a 3-0 victory. DRX pulled one back as they outdrafted DNS in game three. In the fourth game, DRX looked primed to send the series to Silver Scrapes. However, consecutive fight losses resulted in them dropping out of the LCK Cup Playoffs.

Dplus KIA 3-1 DN SOOPers

Total Apex Prediction: DK 3-2

Dplus KIA also took a 2-0 series lead following a drawn-out game two. In the third game, DK needed to garner early leads to make their draft function. They could not do so, and the series continued to a fourth game. DK managed to close out game four to advance in the playoffs.

Gen.G Esports 3-1 FearX

Total Apex Prediction: Gen.G 3-1

Gen.G Esports were better at almost every turn during the series. At times when it looked like BFX had a stranglehold on the fight, someone on Gen.G had a clutch moment. Positive signs are there for BFX, but they will need to improve further to defeat the LCK Giants.

T1 2-3 Dplus KIA

Total Apex Prediction: T1 3-1

T1 had stormed to a 2-0 series lead. Dplus KIA had seemed out of sorts in the first two games. Many expected T1 to win 3-0 from that spot. However, DK fought back to reverse sweep the series. Lucid was instrumental in the comeback, courtesy of his winning smite battles against Oner throughout the final games.

Total Apex LCK Team of the Week

For another week, Gen.G Esports has five players in the Total Apex LCK Team of the Week. Ruler is the only Gen.G player who fell outside the top five of the total ratings. Closer took that spot, but he fell behind Chovy in the mid-lane.

Nocturne Becomes the Most Banned

Nocturne has taken Neeko’s spot as the most-banned champion in the LCK. The jungler’s ultimate and combination with dive compositions have made him a priority for teams. Bard is second on thelist. He has been a target ban for Keria and Andil during the playoffs. With both Supports out of contention, we may see his banrate drop. Nocturne has risen in ban priority in the best-of-five series.

Multiple Champions Share Most Played

Thirteen champions featured in all four series in week one of the playoffs. All of them have been near or at the top of the team’s priority lists for some time. The ten champions in alphabetical order are: Ahri, Ambessa, Azir, Ezreal, Jarvan IV, Lulu, Rakan, Renekton, Taliyah, Varus, Wukong, Xin Zhao, and Yunara. Teams have mostly figured out the meta. The only differences emerge in the latter parts of a fearless series.
