All You Need to Know About Summer Game Fest 2026
Now that we are in 2026, it’s time to start getting ready for Summer Game Fest 2026. This year proves to be an exciting one, with many highly anticipated titles to be released. From future releases like Silent Hill Townfall, Hellraiser Revival, Assassin’s Creed Hexe, GTA VI, and the God of War Trilogy Remake, we should expect to see some exciting trailers and announcements this year. Here’s all you should know about Summer Game Fest 2026, including start time, how to watch, and what to expect.
When Does Summer Game Fest 2026 Premiere?
Geoff Keighley’s annual midsummer games showcase, Summer Game Fest, returns this year with another live event at the Dolby Theater in  Los Angeles, California. The show will be about two hours long, announcing new games, unveiling exciting trailers, and revealing new updates for games.
Summer Game Fest 2026 showcase will premiere on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 2 pm PT / 5 pm ET / 9 pm GMT. This year’s Summer Game Fest also marks the return of The Game Business live, a show focusing on key industry figures analyzing the state of the games industry. Summer Game Fest 2026 will air on Friday; however, the event will be hosted across four days from the 5th to the 8th.
The Live Kickoff show is set for June 5. Afterwards, from June 6-8, SGF: Play Days will be held in downtown Los Angeles. Produced by iam8bit, attendees will get hands-on access to upcoming titles from a range of publishers and developers, with coverage shared across digital and social platforms. Industry professionals can apply to attend as well. To close out the event on June 8, organizers will host The Game Business Live, a business-to-business conference curated by Christopher Dring.
How to Watch
Summer Game Fest 2026 will be available to watch on YouTube and Twitch, and it should also be livestreamed on Facebook, Steam, and X, like the year before. The Game Awards, which was also created by Geoff Keighley, was streamed on Amazon Prime Video globally, so it’s not a stretch to say that we can expect to see the Summer Game Fest on that streaming platform; however, for this, nothing has been confirmed. But what can we expect from this year’s Summer Game Fest?
What to Expect

This year has proven to be an exciting one for game releases. Last year, from the Summer Game Fest to Gamescom to The Game Awards, 2025 teased so many upcoming games that’ll be released later on this year. Even PlayStation’s State of Play a couple of weeks ago teased even more new titles that’ll have a 2026 release. So what games will we expect to have new trailers, updates, and announcements during Summer Game Fest 2026?
Firstly, Capcom has already had an eventful start to the year, with the release of Resident Evil Requiem today. There’s a possibility titles like Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and the rumored remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica could be revealed at this year’s showcase. Konami’s newest Silent Hill game, Silent Hill Townfall, could also have a new trailer reveal for the game, given it’s expected to release later this year.
Other notable titles we can expect to be announced and showcased are the God of War Trilogy Remake, the untitled John Wick video game, which could have its name revealed during this year’s Summer Game Fest, an update of GTA VI, and something I’m hoping will be revealed this year, a release date for Hellraiser Revival, which is one of my most anticipated games of 2026. Summer Game Fest 2026 will premiere on June 5, live at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, so don’t miss out on the most exciting announcements this summer.
