LCK 2026 Regular Season Week 3: Another Important Test For KT

KT has passed their first couple of tests with flying colours. They sit as the lone 4-0 team at the top of the LCK standings. Week 3 presents further tests for them. Dplus KIA and DN SOOPers await the undefeated team. Hanwha Life Esports will face a test of their own, having to take on the LCK Cup champions, Gen.G Esports, later this week.

Nongshim Redforce Versus FearX

Prediction: BFX 2-1

BFX finally got on the board on the final day of week 2. They meet a shaky NS, and this should be the perfect time to pounce. NS will need to play as they did in week 1 to stand a chance in the series.

KT Rolster Versus Dplus KIA

Prediction: KT 2-1

The two teams that have successfully defeated Gen.G in the LCK. KT is the favorite, having won all their series. The series could go either way, but it will mostly depend on which DK shows up.

HANJIN BRION Versus Gen.G Esports

Prediction: Gen.G 2-0

Gen.G has had a shaky start to the LCK regular season. Losing two series is unlike them. However, BRO has not shown enough to contend with the LCK Cup champions.

DN SOOPers Versus Hanwha Life Esports

Prediction: HLE 2-1

HLE is slowly climbing to their expected level at the start of the year. They sit in second place, but that is not assured. DNS has a propensity to upset, but HLE should be good enough to see them off.

KRX Versus FearX

Prediction: BFX 2-0

Both KRX and BFX failed to win a series in week 1. They turned it around in week 2. Despite KRX winning both of their series, the odds tip in BFX’s favor. With them back to winning ways, they could go on a winstreak.

Dplus KIA Versus T1

Prediction: T1 2-1

T1 tends to get the better of DK when they face each other. However, their most recent meeting was a win for DK. Neither team has given their fans confidence, having displayed both dominant and disappointing performances. This series could go either way.

Hanwha Life Esports Versus Gen.G Esports

Prediction: Gen.G 2-1

HLE faces a stern test against Gen.G in their second series of the week. A win could bring them all sorts of confidence for the rest of the LCK. Even with Gen.G losing twice, their peak is still higher than the rest of the league.

DN SOOPers Versus KT Rolster

Prediction: KT 2-0

Before the LCK started, predicting the result of this match would have been different. We would have given a slight edge to DNS. However, a lot has changed, and KT should win another LCK series.

HANJIN BRION Versus Nongshim Redforce

Prediction: NS 2-1

Of the two matches NS plays this week, they should win against BRO. Overall, BRO seems to be the weakest team in the LCK. Their loss to KT, especially clouds their win over BFX.

KRX Versus T1

Prediction: T1 2-0

It has been a while since KRX won a series against T1. T1 might be at 2-2, but their wins have shown they should be better than most of the LCK. They, for sure, have not set the league alight yet. However, losing to the bottom-five teams is not expected of them.

MSI Teams Not Guaranteed

At the start of the regular season, many would have said Gen.G and T1 would qualify for MSI. They might have given shouts to Dplus KIA, FearX, or Hanwha Life Esports. However, that seems impossible to predict at this stage. KT has emerged as a likely candidate, but a lot can change in the upcoming matches.
