LCK 2026 Regular Season Week 2: KT Rolster Dominates Another Week

LCK 2026 Regular Season Log

KT Rolster had a lot to prove in the second week of the LCK regular season. We have seen them win against higher-tier opposition before, but then falter when they are the favorites. There was none of that this week as they ended with a perfect 4-0 record. Hanwha Life Esports is the closest member to them, following T1 and Gen.G Esports’ losses this week.

One Talking Point for each LCK Team

KT Rolster – They Are the Real Deal

KT had a pivotal week of matches. Winning against Gen.G and T1 are special, but they mean nothing if you lose right after. Of the four games they played, three were comfortable victories. Something has shifted in this lineup, and they could be on the cards for something special.

Hanwha Life Esports – A Steadied Ship?

HLE had a difficult second week of matches. DK and BFX are both teams that they can lose to any day. But they emerged with two victories and sit second in the LCK. Their playstyle will not waver with Kanavi spearheading their aggression.

Gen.G Esports – What did G2 Do to Them?

Gen.G usually has a mishap during the regular season. Everyone thought they would recover from their loss to KT. It seemed like they did with a decisive victory over T1. However, they followed that up with a loss to a much-improved DK team.

Nongshim Redforce – There is the Team’s Inconsistency

Last week, we mentioned NS’s inconsistency. They finished week 1 with a perfect record. However, they end the second week at an even series and game score. Losing to KT raised some eyebrows, but the loss to KRX proved this team will not stay at the top.

T1 – Another Disappointing Display

T1 had another week involving a disappointing display. Losing to Gen.G in the regular season is not uncommon for this team. However, the manner in which they lost was surprising. They recovered with a win over DNS, but it was not the most comfortable of victories.

Dplus KIA – What Is Their Level?

In the same week, DK lost comfortably to HLE and humbled Gen.G 2-0. DK is an enigma. Being able to predict which version of them will show up is nearly impossible. For ShowMaker, he has finally broken his five-year loss streak against Gen.G and Chovy.

KRX – A Return to Form?

KRX had an awful start to the LCK regular season. It prompted some to predict them to finish in last place. However, this week was a reversal of fortune, especially with their victory over NS.

HANJIN BRION – No Surprises

BRO losing both of their matches this week should not come as a surprise. Their victory over BFX last week was more of a fluke than anything. They barely had a chance against KT.

FearX – Is Daystar the Solution?

So far, BFX has played two mid-laners in the regular season. Daystar featured in one series and won. Was his substitution key to their victory over DNS? Odds are not really. He had little to no impact on the match result. Whether he stays or VicLa returns is a question for next week’s matches.

DN SOOPers – Losing to Better Opposition

DNS may be the perfect team to decide if a team deserves to be at the top of the LCK. They seem to have the better of the weaker teams, but struggle against the best. Losing to T1 and BFX this week should not come as a surprise to anyone.
