LCK Cup 2026 Playoffs Match Review: FearX Brush Aside Dplus KIA To Qualify for First Stand

LCK - League of Legends Champions Korea in LoL Esports

Dplus KIA made a miraculous comeback against T1 in the LCK Cup Playoffs. They have given themselves a chance to advance to the Grand Final and qualify for First Stand. However, FearX stood in their path, and they did not allow them to get past. BFX dominated the series from start to finish with a 3-0 win in quick fashion. BFX will now play against Gen.G Esports in the Grand Final and join them at First Stand next month.

BFX has a 1.6k gold lead at 10 minutes. Both teams trade kills for a few minutes, with neither garnering an advantage. DK takes an unnecessary fight on the third Drake. The win gives BFX map control, which allows them to push lanes. All of a sudden, BFX has a 4k gold lead.

DK thinks they have kills on the carries of BFX, but they lack the damage to get the kills in time. BFX slams the fight and moves towards Baron and the Hextech Soul point. BFX takes all three inhibitors. Eventually, they use all the super minions to help them close out the game.

Series Summary

DK started the series in the same fashion they did against T1. They were down 2-0 in the blink of an eye. The difference today was that BFX stood tall and did not allow Dk back into the series. BFX’s macro was far superior throughout the series as they left DK in the dust. VicLa had some moments where he got overeager, but overall had a good performance. The rest of BFX had dominant performances as we saw Diable return to form. They join Gen.G in the Grand Final and First Stand.
