Fortnite Reveals Grace Ashcroft Skin Releasing February 28

Resident Evil Requiem was released today, and Fortnite wanted to celebrate the launch of this highly anticipated game with fans of the series. Fortnite is collaborating with Capcom by unveiling a Grace Ashcroft skin that’ll be released tomorrow. This Fortnite x Resident Evil Requiem collaboration is pretty exciting for fans of both games. Here’s what we know and what we can expect tomorrow when the Grace Ashcroft skin drops on Fortnite.

Fortnite x Resident Evil Requiem Collab Drops Tomorrow

The Fortnite x Resident Evil Requiem collaboration was first teased last year, and when I say teased, Fortnite did not reveal much about the collaboration. Namely, what characters would be featured as a new skin in season 7? However, Epic Games recently confirmed that the crossover will feature the newest protagonist in the Resident Evil series, Grace Ashcroft.

Epic Games has confirmed that the Grace Ashcroft skin will be released on February 28, 2026. Excitingly, players who pre-ordered or purchased Resident Evil Requiem on the Epic Games Store will receive the skin for free. There are a few steps you need to follow to unlock it:

• Step 1: Purchase Resident Evil Requiem on the Epic Games Store.
• Step 2: You have to use the same Epic Games account linked to your Fortnite profile.
• Step 3: Log in to Fortnite on February 28, after 4:00 pm PT, to redeem the skin.

Players will need to purchase Resident Evil Requiem on the same Epic Games account that is tied to their Fortnite profile. The Grace Ashcroft skin will go live when the Item Shop has its daily reset at 4:00 pm PT / 7:00 pm ET. The Grace Ashcroft skin was officially revealed in the “This Week in Fortnite Item Shop” video posted on their official X account. Like all skins in the online game, the Grace Ashcroft skin is an exact copy of Grace in her original outfit when you start the game. With her iconic platinum blonde hair and her brown leather jacket and hoodie, fans will get to experience her through the lens of the popular sandbox online game. Now, the only way to get the Grace Ashcroft skin for free is to purchase Resident Evil Requiem exclusively on the Epic Games Store and link your Fortnite account. But what if these conditions weren’t met?

If you play exclusively on console or mobile, or if you’re not going to purchase Resident Evil Requiem, Grace Ashcroft will be released in the Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks with the February 28 Item Shop reset at 7:00 pm ET, and will leave on March 7 at the same time. If you purchase the Grace Ashcroft skin through the Item Shop and then purchase Resident Evil Requiem at a later date through the Epic Games Store, you will receive a 1,500 V-Buck refund.

Resident Evil Requiem dropped today, and it is shattering records left and right. Not surprising given how highly anticipated the game has been since it was announced during last year’s Summer Game Fest.
