Warner Bros. Discovery and ITV have struck a content partnership that brings more than 2,000 hours of programming from WBD’s TLC and Quest channels to the ITVX streaming service in the U.K. The first shows from TLC on ITVX went live Thursday, Oct. 1, with the full slate rolling out over the next 12 months, according to Advanced Television and Deadline.

The deal comes days before Paramount Skydance is expected to complete its takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery.

What’s streaming now from TLC on ITVX

ITVX has launched branded collections for both channels. From day one, viewers can stream the first series of TLC’s revived “Mock the Week,” hosted by Dara Ó Briain with Rhys James, along with the first seasons of “Dr. Pimple Popper” and “The Bad Skin Clinic,” according to TV Zone UK.

The second series of “Mock the Week,” which premiered Sept. 13, and the new Ed Gamble-hosted “Unacceptable,” which debuts in November, will air Sundays at 9 p.m. on TLC first. Both move to the ITVX collection in 2027, Advanced Television reported.

Select seasons of “90 Day Fiancé” and “Say Yes to the Dress” are also coming to TLC on ITVX, along with the comedy titles “Zero Stars” and “Top Trumps: The Comedy Pack,” the latter in early 2027. “Top Trumps: The Comedy Pack” features Katherine Ryan, Joel Dommett and Jon Richardson, according to TV Zone UK.

The original “Mock the Week” ran on BBC Two from 2005 until the BBC ended it in 2022, according to Wikipedia. TLC brought the topical panel show back in 2026, first with summer specials, and its arrival on ITVX gives the revival a much bigger free-to-air streaming audience in the U.K.

Graham Lafferty, WBD’s senior vice president of content strategy and networks, said in the announcement: “We’re delighted to announce this partnership with ITV today to bring TLC’s new-look content to its broad ITVX audience.”

Quest titles and what it means for fans

A Quest-branded collection will follow with motoring and restoration series, including “Salvage Hunters,” “Shed & Buried,” “Vinnie Jones in the Country” and “Richard Hammond’s Workshop,” according to TV Zone UK.

For U.K. viewers who don’t use Discovery’s own platforms, putting TLC on ITVX opens up reality and factual franchises that have built loyal followings over many seasons.

Context

ITV already has similar content-sharing arrangements, including one with Disney+, according to Deadline. U.K. broadcasters have faced pressure to partner up as streaming competition squeezes traditional networks. For more on that shift, see our TV and streaming coverage.

Paramount Skydance has tentatively set Tuesday, Oct. 6, to close its roughly $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery after a federal judge on Wednesday approved its settlement with 12 state attorneys general, as the combined company maps out its streaming leadership. To help fund the deal, Paramount launched a $7.5 billion senior secured term loan, part of a plan to raise about $44.4 billion in additional secured debt, according to Reuters and TheWrap. The combined company is expected to carry nearly $80 billion in debt.

The ITV agreement is one of the first visible international moves for WBD’s networks as the merger nears, and more changes to its global channels and streaming strategy could follow under new ownership.

What’s next

The Quest collection and the remaining TLC on ITVX titles are scheduled to arrive over the coming months, with “Mock the Week” series 2, “Unacceptable” and “Top Trumps: The Comedy Pack” landing on ITVX in 2027.
