LCK Cup 2026 DN SOOPers Review: An Improvement Following Their Worst Year

LCK - League of Legends Champions Korea in LoL Esports

DN SOOPers, formerly the DN Feecs, finished last in the LCK last year. Some considered them the worst LCK team in its history. However, in the LCK Cup, they returned to form. A fifth-placed finish is better than what many expected them to. They managed to break into the top five. The top five has been a highly contested position for the last few years.

DN SOOPers LCK Cup Results

DNS played one less series than Dplus KIA. That was the only team that had played more series than them. They also had the same series record and game score as DRX. DNS won four series and lost six, while fifteen of the thirty-three games

  • Lost 2-1 Versus KT Rolster
  • Lost 2-0 Versus Dplus KIA

DN SOOPers Player Review

DuDu

  • Total Apex Rating – 6.4 (3rd among top laners, tied 9th among players)
  • Champions Played
    • Rek’Sai (5)
    • Rumble (5)
    • Gwen (4)
    • Ambessa (3)
    • K’Sante (3)
    • Sion (3)
    • Jax (2)
    • Renekton (2)
    • Aatrox
    • Gnar
    • Yorick

DuDu emerged in 2024 as one of the best op laners. However, he fell by the wayside on a struggling 2025 roster. He rose again in the LCK Cup to be one of the best top laners again. Only Doran and Kiin had better Total Apex Ratings than DuDu during the LCK Cup.

Pyosik

  • Total Apex Rating – 5.8 (6th among junglers, 30th among players)
  • Champions Played
    • Wukong (8)
    • Jarvan IV (4)
    • Lee Sin (4)
    • Dr. Mundo (2)
    • Jayce (2)
    • Naafiri (2)
    • Nocturne (2)
    • Sejuani (2)
    • Vi (2)
    • Ambessa
    • Hecarim
    • Pantheon
    • Rammus
    • Xin Zhao

Pyosik had some of the more unique jungle picks in the LCK Cup. He is at his best when he has the confidence to pick these champions. It makes drafting against DNS significantly more difficult. The success of DNS lived and died by Pyosik’s performances. When he was on form, DNS managed to win multiple games.

Clozer

  • Total Apex Rating – 6.1 (6th among mid laners, tied 19th among players)
  • Champions Played
    • Ahri (4)
    • Orianna (4)
    • Ryze (3)
    • Taliyah (3)
    • Viktor (3)
    • Akali (2)
    • Azir (2)
    • Cassiopeia (2)
    • Syndra (2)
    • Yone (2)
    • Zoe (2)
    • Anivia
    • Aurora
    • Galio
    • Smolder

Clozer was the silent carry player of DNS. He rarely had disappointing performances. Compared to the rest of the LCK player pool, he outperformed them. However, he did not perform better than five of the other mid-laners. To his credit, that would require him to be better than Chovy, Faker, Bdd, ShowMaker, and a surging VicLa.

deokdam

  • Total Apex Rating – 5.9 (6th among bot laners, tied 28th among players)
  • Champions Played
    • Corki (6)
    • Yunara (5)
    • Jhin (3)
    • Aphelios (2)
    • Ashe (2)
    • Ezreal (2)
    • Kalista (2)
    • Sivir (2)
    • Varus (2)
    • Xayah (2)
    • Ziggs (2)
    • Caitlyn
    • Kai’Sa
    • Miss Fortune

Following a stable World Championship, deokdam left KT Rolster and moved to DNS. He struggled to make his mark on the team. While he was not a liability on the roster, he did not contribute to their success.

Peter

  • Total Apex Rating – 6.0 (4th among supports, tied 24th among players)
  • Champions Played
    • Neeko (5)
    • Rakan (5)
    • Rell (5)
    • Alistar (4)
    • Lulu (2)
    • Nautilus (2)
    • Renata Glasc (2)
    • Leona

Peter was the second part of the successful 2025 KT Rolster bot lane. He joined deokdam on DNS. After missing the first two series of the LCK Cup, he took his spot on the team. He managed to continue his success from the end of last year.

Life

  • Total Apex Rating – 4.3 (tied 11th among supports, tied 51st among players)
  • Champions Played
    • Pantheon (2)
    • Braum
    • Nami
    • Neeko
    • Rell
    • Soraka

Life began the LCK Cup as DNS’s starting Support. That was mostly down to Peter being sick in the first week. He struggled in the first two matches, and it was evident that he was not better than Peter.

If you had told anyone that DNS would finish fifth place in the LCK Cup, they would be shocked. They managed to take advantage of the fact that Hanwha Life Esports, KT Rolster, and Nongshim Redforce faltered. A fifth-place finish is exceptional, but they would need to improve to hold onto the position. DRX is breathing down their necks, and any of the aforementioned teams could recover their form later in the year.
