LCK Cup 2026 HANJIN BRION Review: A Brand New Roster Fails And Goes Winless
HANJIN BRION was the only team with a fresh roster in the LCK Cup. As a result, not many expected them to make a dent. They performed better than most predicted, but they did not win a series. They were the only team in the competition that failed to win a series. They might improve later in the year as their coordination improves.

HANJION BRION Player Review

Casting
- Total Apex Rating – 5.4 (tied 9th among top laners, tied 38th among players)
- Champions Played
- Renekton (3)
- Ambessa (2)
- Aurora (2)
- Gwen (2)
- K’Sante (2)
- Sion (2)
- Aatrox
- Gnar
- Rek’Sai
- Rumble
- Yorick
Casting’s first split as a starter did not go as planned. He struggled to keep up with a dominant pool of top-lane players. His decisiveness in fights needs improvement.
GIDEON
- Total Apex Rating – 5.7 (tied 7th among junglers, tied 33rd among players
- Champions Played
- Nocturne (3)
- Pantheon (3)
- Vi (3)
- Trundle (2)
- Wukong (2)
- Xin Zhao (2)
- Ambessa
- Jarvan IV
- Poppy
- Sejuani
GIDEON was the best player on the roster during the LCK Cup. He was often the reason why BRO was able to take games during the series. However, he had his share of disastrous games, struggling to make an impact.
Roamer
- Total Apex Rating – 5.2 (10th among mid-laners, 45th among players)
- Champions Played
- Ryze (5)
- Taliyah (4)
- Orianna (3)
- Akali
- Azir
- Cassiopeia
- Sylas
- Syndra
- Ziggs
- Zoe
Having dominated the Korean ladder, Roamer had expectations coming into the LCK Cup. However, ShowMaker shattered those early. Roamer struggled to find his footing against other mid laners.
Teddy
- Total Apex Rating – 5.4 (8th among bot laners, tied 38th among players)
- Champions Played
- Corki (3)
- Ezreal (3)
- Aphelios (2)
- Jhin (2)
- Lucian (2)
- Varus (2)
- Kalista
- Miss Fortune
- Sivir
- Tristana
- Yunara
Teddy was the other consistent player on BRO. He held his own in most bot lane matchups. However, his team’s lack of coordination in teamfights gave him little room to produce dominant performances.
Namgung
- Total Apex Rating – 4.9 (tied 10th among supports, tied 49th among players)
- Champions Played
- Braum (3)
- Elise (3)
- Karma (2)
- Leona (2)
- Alistar
- Lulu
- Nautilus
- Neeko
- Pantheon
- Rakan
- Rell
- Renata Glasc
- Thresh
Namgung had a torrid time in his first LCK split. The rookie struggled to match the pressure of being the focal point for BRO. However, expecting more from a rookie support on an uncoordinated roster is a fool’s errand.
LCK Cup Review

BRO qualifying for the Play-Ins was a miracle more than anything. They were the worst team in the LCK Cup, but they went through by being in the same group as T1 and Gen.G Esports. Going winless came as no surprise. However, they did manage to take games off of teams. Their opening series against Dplus KIA was the only series in which they did not win a game. There are positive signs for BRO, but they will need to improve. Individually, this roster can be middle of the pack. If they can show improvement in team coordination and Namgung improves, they might become a force to be reckoned with later in the year.
