Daily Devotional Monday Motivation | July 13, 2026

in Monday's daily devotional, an open Bible is shown with the block letters that spell out FAITH

Happy Monday; it’s time for your daily devotional. There’s a song by the legendary gospel group The Clark Sisters entitled “I Like Living This Kind of Life.” It’s about enjoying salvation and living by faith. There’s nothing better than a Christ-centered life. It’s the most freeing life of all. In today’s daily devotional, life isn’t about just living; it’s about living by faith.

Nothing Compares to a Faith-Filled Life

Paul starts his letter to the Galatians by affirming his call to ministry. He identifies himself as an apostle, not by man’s assignment. In other words, man didn’t bestow the title upon him, but Jesus and the Father appointed him to this ministry. In this letter, Paul teaches about faith, the lifestyle believers live by.  Through faith, you receive from God, who is the Giver of every good and perfect gift.

God supplies all your needs according to His riches in glory. When you walk in faith, you experience the life God intended for you. In your daily devotional,  nothing compares to a faith-filled life, for God withholds no good thing from those who put their trust in Him.

You Live Unto Christ

In Galatians 2:20, Paul describes the believer’s mysterious life: “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Paul is crucified, yet he lives. This means that as a believer, your old nature was nailed to the cross at Christ’s crucifixion. So you’re dead to sin but alive to Christ. You’re dead to the world; you’re dead to the law, yet you live victoriously.

That’s the power of salvation. As a believer, you have access to God’s wisdom and revelation, and the eyes of your understanding have been opened.  In this daily devotional, you’re now free to walk in the faith of the Son of God.

Christ Lives in You

Paul mentions being crucified with Christ once, but then focuses on life: “I live,” “Christ liveth in me,” then “the life which I now live,” and  “I live by the faith of the Son of God.” Being crucified doesn’t stop you from living. It frees you to live because your sins have been erased and you now live by faith unto God. Christ lives in you, and Greater is He who is in you than the evil one who’s in the world.

You don’t have to worry about sin or Satan. You’re free! The life you now live far surpasses your past. It’s a better, fuller, and richer life. You were once blind, but now you see. You once dwelt in darkness, but now you walk in God’s light. You were bound by sin; now you’re set free by the power of God. In today’s daily devotional, you walk in an amazing transformation that the world can’t comprehend.

Living Your Best Life in Christ

In Monday’s daily devotional, faith means believing God, believing His word, and speaking it. It’s not enough to believe it in your heart, but you must speak it by faith. In Mark 11:23, Jesus says, “Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed,” without doubting but believing that “those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” In today’s daily devotional, being dead to sin, living by faith, and speaking God’s word means living your best life.
