What We Know About Blood Coast Season 3
Season 3 follows the story of Lyès and his crew, the central characters driving the Marseille-set crime narrative. Production took place in the Marseille area and at least one undisclosed international location, with Marchal teasing in March that “we will shoot part of the season abroad.”
Plot details remain sparse. The shooting schedule wrapped in June after filming in the first half of 2026, meaning post-production work on editing, sound and visual effects is now underway.
Why It Matters And What’s Next
Blood Coast has become one of Netflix’s few confirmed returning French series, joining Lupin and The Cage in the streamer’s international lineup. The show has built a committed niche audience since its debut in late 2024.
Marchal’s commitments elsewhere could affect the show’s future beyond Season 3: he is set to begin pre-production on a World War I movie scheduled to shoot starting February 2027. If Netflix renews the series for Season 4, the director’s availability may influence production timing.
Netflix has not announced the exact premiere date for Season 3.
