Beavis and Butt-Head Season 4 premieres Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. The new season has 12 episodes.

When Beavis and Butt-Head Season 4 arrives

The episodes air right after the season premiere of “South Park” on the network’s Wednesday lineup, according to Animation World Network. Titmouse produces the series. Judge, Lew Morton and Michael Rotenberg are among the listed producers.

Seasons 1 through 3 of the revival, the classic episodes and the films “Beavis and Butt-Head Do America” and “Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe” stream on Paramount+, the outlet said. The revival began on Paramount+ in 2022. Comedy Central has aired it since 2025.

Rights fight could shape the show’s future

The premiere comes as Judge moves to take back control of his characters. Consequence reported in August, citing Puck, that Judge told his lawyer to notify Paramount Skydance he plans to reclaim U.S. rights. Copyright law lets creators end certain grants after 35 years. Judge’s “Frog Baseball” short debuted in 1992, so 2027 is the year he can act.

Cosmic Book News noted that Beavis and Butt-Head Season 4 could be the last Paramount makes under its original agreement. It remains unclear whether the two sides will strike a new deal. Paramount’s wider future is also in flux, as Total Apex covered in its look at the Paramount-WBD merger.

Where the series stands

Judge’s “Frog Baseball” short ran on MTV’s “Liquid Television” before the original series debuted in March 1993. It ran seven seasons through November 1997, and “Beavis and Butt-Head Do America” reached theaters in 1996. MTV revived the show in 2011 for an eighth season. The 2022 revival, titled “Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head,” followed on Paramount+.

Beavis and Butt-Head Season 4 arrives as the characters keep showing up beyond TV. Total Apex covered the Call of Duty crossover with Beavis and Butt-Head skins, and the end of the MTV music channels that first made the duo famous.
