Aoashi season 2 has released creditless versions of its opening and ending animations following the soccer anime’s Oct. 4 premiere in Japan. Both clips appear in the video section of the series’ official website, letting viewers watch the sequences without the staff-credit overlays.

Aoashi season 2 introduces two theme songs

10-FEET performs the opening, “Fortress Defense,” while Ai Higuchi supplies the ending, “Triangle.” The official music page lists Oct. 5 digital releases for both tracks.

TAKUMA wrote and composed “Fortress Defense,” with the arrangement credited to 10-FEET. Higuchi wrote and composed “Triangle,” which was arranged by Hikaru Ishizaki. These are the themes for the first half of the season.

A tougher level for Ashito

The official synopsis places Ashito Aoi on Esperion’s A team after his promotion from the B team. He faces players whose speed, technique and physical strength immediately challenge him. The next stage unfolds in Japan’s top high-school-age league.

The production’s announcement specifies 24 episodes, with 12 in the first half. Japanese broadcasts began on NHK E-TV at 5 p.m. Sundays.

Crunchyroll confirms it streams the new season in North America and other international territories.
