Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes married in a private ceremony in Washington County, Arkansas, on Sept. 19, according to Page Six. The wedding came nearly four years after the former “GMA3” co-anchors’ romance first became public, and about a year after they announced their engagement.
Robach, 53, and Holmes, 49, applied for their marriage license in Washington County on Sept. 18, one day before the ceremony, Page Six reported.

The couple kept the location and timing of the wedding out of public view, consistent with how they have handled much of their relationship since going public with it. Robach and Holmes each have two children from previous relationships, and the marriage brings their families together as a blended household, according to Page Six.
The pair had signaled for months that they wanted their wedding to look different from a typical ceremony. Holmes told the hosts of “Bill and Giuliana: The Podcast” in May that he and Robach had already settled on a date and a format they had not yet shared publicly.
“There is a way we want to get married that we haven’t revealed necessarily, but it would be very special to us,” Holmes said on the podcast, according to Page Six.
How The Engagement Became Public
Robach and Holmes announced their engagement in October 2025 on their podcast, Amy & TJ, which the couple launched in December 2023. They told listeners they had already been engaged for roughly a month before making the news official.
“We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we’ve been engaged for just about a month now,” the couple said on the podcast, per Page Six.
Robach and Holmes said they chose to announce the engagement themselves rather than let it leak, a decision shaped by how their relationship first came to light publicly.
“We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to; we’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship,” they said.
The couple also revealed that Robach had worn her engagement ring in public for weeks before announcing the news, without anyone noticing or asking about it. She wore the ring to three football stadiums over three consecutive weekends, according to Page Six.
“We haven’t been keeping it a secret, but nobody asked!” the couple said.
Signs The Marriage Was Coming
Holmes had referred to Robach as his “spouse” as early as May 2025, introducing her that way during an episode of their podcast spinoff “I Do, Part 2,” months before the engagement was formally announced. The remark, paired with his comments in May about a planned wedding date, pointed toward the couple moving ahead with marriage well before the Arkansas ceremony took place.
What’s Next
Robach and Holmes have not released further details about the ceremony itself, including who attended or what made the format special, as they had teased. The couple continues to co-host their podcast, Amy & TJ, where they have previously shared personal updates about their relationship.
