The tears you shed to save me,
Lasted only for a while.
Into the world you brought me,
With innocence and style.
You kissed away the pain,
And gave everything you could.
An Angel sent from heaven,
Is where you thought I stood.
With feelings that were shy,
You taught me all I knew.
Waiting just to hold me,
After things that I’ve been through.
Your little girl is what you see,
As you wish upon each star.

As I start walking on my own.

Dedication
This poem was written by my very talented sister, and with her permission, I decided to share it with the world. It was a gift to our loving mother years ago for Mother’s Day. Unfortunately, she is no longer with us; she left us way too soon. She was an Angel on Earth, and God wanted her to come home to Heaven. With a tear in my eye, We love you, Mom, and miss you every single day. I hope we make you proud. Love your three kids, WSM.
