Witch Watch Episode 9
In Witch Watch, Nico is a witch who has completed her training and returned home to develop her abilities further. She has two familiars, Morihito, a childhood friend who is descended from ogres, and Kanshi, a tengu she met during witch training. She doesn’t know it, but her mother has prophesied danger for Nico. Her familiars know, though they keep it secret from her.
Dear Kara
You may need some tissues for Witch Watch Episode 9.
Nico’s friend Kara has a special, and very difficult request. Her mother died the previous year from illness, but she wrote a letter and mailed it to Kara before she died. Kara’s father read the letter, and he shredded it before allowing Kara to read it.
The tiny pieces of shredded letters are mixed up with other shredded paper. When Kara tells them what it was, Nico and Morihito get to work sorting through the shreds with her.
It’s no surprise that the friends restore the letter, but her mother’s words aren’t what Kara expected. No spoilers here. You’ll have to watch for yourself.
New Friends
New friend Jun Horai needs help. He speaks English using phrasing that sounds like it comes from an English textbook! And he has a crush on a girl, but he’s afraid to approach her. So, he asks Nico to use her magic to change his manner of speaking.
But Nico refuses and tells him to be himself. He takes her advice, and what happens is so touching and funny. You’ll have to see for yourself.
Date With the Knight
Nico laments that she can’t read Morihito’s emotions. He doesn’t show any feelings for her. She asks him if she can cast a spell on him that will allow her to understand his emotions better. Surprise! He says yes!
A tiny Morihito appears on his head and shows everything he’s feeling. After a movie, they go to a festival together. Through the day, Nico learns a lot about her family. It’s lovely seeing them bond that way.
Romance and Friendship
Witch Watch Episode 9 is such a happy one! You should not miss one moment. Nico shows kindness to others every time, and her friends are always there to help. And her crush on Morihito just seems to grow. Episode 9 finally gives him a chance to show how he feels, too.
