Vince Vaughn and Al Pacino star together in the upcoming movie Easy’s Waltz, directed by Nic Pizzolatto, the talented creator of HBO’s True Detective. The indie drama will be Pizzolatto’s first feature film as a director. While on set together, Vince Vaughn learned one unique thing about his co-actor Al Pacino, which wasn’t his acting prowess. While there’s no official release date for the film, fans are ecstatic to see this unexpected duo act alongside each other, especially after hearing what Vaughn had to say about Pacino.
Vince Vaughn on The Tonight Show
Vaughn recently appeared on The Tonight Show, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, and this is what he had to say about Pacino.
“He smells like a high-end cologne counter in Italy. He has an incredible smell. The whole aroma is unbelievable,” Vaughn said.
Vaughn wasn’t the only one to notice Pacino’s distinctly pleasant aroma.
“A lot of people would be around us and tell him that he smelled fantastic,” the 55-year-old Dodgeball star told Fallon. “And then, so, the question would come up, which is, you know, ‘What’s the cologne?'”
Unluckily, Pacino did not reveal his signature scent to anyone.
What has been revealed, however, is the star lineup for Easy’s Waltz. Deadline previously announced that adjacent Pacino and Vaughn will be Michelle Monaghan and Simon Rex, and the story will follow a “down-on-his-luck-comedian-crooner as he navigates modern Las Vegas with old-school Vegas personalities.”
Final Thoughts
There’s no denying the impact Vaughn had on the early 2000s comedy genre, and his subsequent roles in drama have solidified him as a genuinely versatile actor. Fans are excited to see Vaughn and Pacino share the screen, as both are renowned in personally unique ways.
