What We Can Expect From the Season 11 Vanderpump Rules Reunion

Vanderpump Rules has delivered all season long. Although it started off a bit slow compared to the epic finale and ensuing drama following the scandal that rocked the world, it picked up steam as the episodes went on and gave us the juicy gossip, drama, and moments we were looking for.

Ariana yelled at Sandoval as he continually harassed her in group settings, Lala fired back at Ariana for capitalizing on her fame, and Scheana and Brock had a rocky time in their marital bliss.

The season ended with Ariana walking out of the last party of the entire show, hinting at the possibility of finality for a show that has graced our screens for more than ten years. Could this be the end?

We’re not sure. But we are sure of a few things heading into the VPR reunion coming up tomorrow.

Vanderpump Rules Reunion Hot Take #1

One of the aspects of the Vanderpump Rules reunion people are hoping will finally happen is Tom Sandoval taking some responsibility. All season long on the TV show he has blamed others for his affair with Raquel, James Kennedy’s ex-fiancée, as he was living with his current girlfriend of nearly 10 years.

Viewers saw Tom never take responsibility, insult Ariana, and try to make everyone out to be ‘mean’ to him – even though he was the one who brought his own life crashing down in the process.

Viewers need to see Tom Sandoval accept what he has done and apologize to Ariana. But, viewers are wary – the entire season, production has been pushing a redemption arc for the villain. An apology from him would almost surely be a farce, as he wants the world to think he is a good person. The apology might be a little too late to save face for this ingenuine reality TV persona.

Vanderpump Rules Reunion Hot Take #2

We need to see more of Jo on our screens. Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney’s ex-husband, has had a bit of a downward spiral since they broke up. Katie has really leaned into her single era and has never looked better. On the other hand, Tom Schwartz has undergone a midlife crisis by dying his hair platinum blonde, moving into a depressing apartment, and dating Jo very quickly after he and Katie called it quits.

Jo is the female version of Tom Schwartz. She is kooky, affable, and a bit strange. This could be very endearing in some scenarios, but since the rumor is she was completely aware of the Tom and Raquel affair – and even went on double dates with them alongside Tom Schwartz – her kookiness is not too endearing.

She makes for great TV. She is still completely in love with Tom Schwartz, even after he humiliated her in public time and time again by refusing to acknowledge they were romantically involved. Jo needs to come to the reunion and hold Tom’s feet to the fire.

Vanderpump Rules Reunion Hot Take #3

Katie Maloney has had a fantastic season. She has stuck by Ariana’s side through thick and thin, arguably the only person who has consistently had her back even during the gossip sessions that would unfold among the group of friends. Even Ariana’s long-time BFF Scheana talked negatively behind Ariana’s back throughout the year with Lala, showing their jealous side to the Vanderpump Rules fandom.

But Katie never gave in to the gossip. She held firm in her friendship with Ariana, kept her boundaries with Tom Schwartz (her ex-husband), avoided intermingling with Tom Sandoval, and kept it real when Brock (Scheana’s husband) or other men would comment on Ariana’s lack of forgiveness.

Plus, she looks great. She has leaned into her new slightly-emo style with a shorter haircut, darker clothes, and perfect makeup. We can’t wait to see how she sticks up for Ariana against the drama at the Vanderpump Rules reunion.
