If you haven’t seen “Thunderbolts” yet, get to the theater ASAP! It’s the winner from the Marvel Movies lineup that we’ve been hoping for. And it’s a good sign of things to come. We can expect thrilling action and well-conceived characters played by the best actors. Let’s assemble this Marvel movie lineup!
The Fantastic Four: First Steps (July 25, 2025)
Pedro Pascal has already stolen our hearts with his roles in “The Last of Us” and “The Mandalorian.” Soon we’ll see him don a superhero costume as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic. Vanessa Kirby is Sue Storm. Joseph Quinn is Johnny Storm. And Ebon Moss-Bachrach is Ben Grimm. From the trailer, we can see this is going to be quite a ride. There’s a gender-bending female Silver Surfer played by Julia Garner, and the shadow of Galactus shows us hints of the danger that the heroes will face. And everything on a backdrop that has classic vibes.
Avengers: Doomsday (May 1, 2026)
The plot for the next “Avengers” movie is still a secret, but we’re ready for whatever is coming because the cast list for this film is Incredible. Robert Downey Jr. won’t be in his usual Iron Man suit because, well, we know what happened. But he will be joining the cast as the title villain, Victor von Doom. Then there’s the list of heroes. We have Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn), Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), and more.
Phew! That was a long list to type out. With a huge cast like this, we’re wondering how long this movie will be. This is going to be a roller coaster of excitement.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day (July 31, 2026)
Next in the Marvel movies lineup is another one with very little in the way of details. We do know that Tom Holland will be our friendly neighborhood hero again, with Zendaya returning as MJ. The official website doesn’t give any details about the plot, but IMDB is showing one. According to IMDB, “After Doomsday, Peter Parker tries to focus on college and leave Spider-Man behind. But when a new threat endangers his friends, he must break his promise and suit up again, teaming with an unexpected ally to protect those he loves.” So, take that with a grain of salt since, as far as we know, they haven’t even started filming yet.
Avengers: Secret Wars (May 7, 2027)
Here’s another mystery. But that’s not surprising since we haven’t had “Doomsday” yet. Still, the cast on IMDB includes The Fantastic Four cast, Robert Downey Jr. as Dr. Doom, and some additional rumored characters like Ms. Marvel and America Chavez. How much fun would that be? We’re ready for it. Bring on the new heroes added to the Marvel movies lineup.

The Marvel movies lineup is a short list, but we’re looking for quality, not quantity, from our superheroes. It’s a positive thing to see fewer titles, so they can focus on making the best films possible. In the meantime, there’s plenty of Marvel content available for streaming, too.
