Described by Rolling Stone as “everyone’s favorite television-induced anxiety attack,” the third season of The Bear will reportedly tease a lot of interpersonal conflict in the upcoming season as we see the chefs attempt to balance their personal and professional relationships. It seems like Claire, played by Molly Gordon, has returned after her breakup with Carmy at the end of last season. Read more on the upcoming season here!
According to Variety, White spoke to the publication last year on his preparations for season 3, stating, “We all did a lot of preparation before the first season. I went to culinary school and spent a lot of time in restaurants. And then, for the second season, so much of it was about putting the restaurant together, so there wasn’t that much cooking. But now, in the third season, I think we’re going to go back to that functioning kitchen atmosphere that we had in the first.”
What is The Bear About?
The Bear follows Carmy, a renowned chef who is forced to return home to Chicago after the death of his brother. The series follows Carmy as he attempts to revive his family’s sandwich shop and drive in more business, all while dealing with the complicated involvement of his family.
In the first two seasons, there was a lot of fan buzz surrounding Ayo Edebiri and Jeremy Allen White’s characters, with some fans calling for Carmy and Sydney to get together. Other fans are adamant that the duo remain just friends. With Carmy’s breakup at the end of last season, I’m sure we’ll see Carmy and Sydney’s relationship evolve in the third season, whether it be romantic or not.
