Rhett and Summer’s banter is immaculate, and so is their romance. This book is witty, spicy, and fun. It’s got just the right amount of drama to keep you engaged, and it makes for a great slump-breaker book. If you’ve never read a cowboy romance, it’s time to start now and Elsie Silver is the perfect author to start with.
First Down by Grace Reilly
First Down by Grace Reilly is a college football romance that takes place at McKee University where NFL-bound James transfers to better his chances at a professional football career. James is focused on his career goals and doesn’t want any distractions, but when he meets Bex, the student who’s assigned to tutor him in an English class he didn’t pass the previous year, his boundaries are tested.
They come up with a fake dating scheme and things escalate from there. First Down is the first in a series of interconnected standalone books. It’s got humor, spice, and heart. I highly recommend this book.
