LCK 2026 Regular Season Day Four: A Recovery Day For Title Hopefuls
Two teams needed a bounce back after their opening LCK matches. Both T1 and Dplus KIA lost 2-0 in the first series against KT Rolster and Nongshim Redforce, respectively. Both emerged victorious today with 2-0 wins. Hanwha Life Esports failed to convert on the momentum gained from their series win over HANJIN BRION on the opening day. KRX has had a shaky start to the LCK, going 0-2 in the first week.
T1 Versus Hanwha Life Esports

Game One – Close Calls Sting
Zeka nearly had multiple solo kills on Faker during the laning phase. However, he always lived with low health. Kanavi overforced a couple of plays, and that allowed T1 to control the game. It was not the cleanest game for T1. They lost the first Baron to Kanavi’s smite and had unnecessary deaths while trying to close out the game. Peyz was the most stable member, ensuring T1 got their first victory of the LCK regular season.
Game Two – Hanwha Life Goes Down With A Whimper
HLE dived each side lane in the early game, and it seemed like they would cruise to a win. T1 clawed their way back thanks to Oner’s Lee Sin. The gold lead grew over time until T1 overextended. HLE stood no chance in the even game state. They lost the one pivotal team fight, and the game ended.

Dplus KIA Versus KRX

Game One – Pauses Only Room to Breathe
From start to finish, DK had control over the first game. The only time KRX had time to breathe was because of two pauses midway through the game. There were some crazy moments from DK, but it did not shift the needle.
Game Two – DK and KRX Trade Leads
Neither team could hang onto a significant gold lead for most of the game. The game was bloody as the teams traded blows. With KRX having Chemtech Soul, it looked like they could send it to a third game. They had the gold lead shortly before both Elder and Baron spawned on the map. However, they missed a pick on Career and lost the fight.
Champions Played
Dplus KIA
- Siwoo – Gnar, Renekton
- Lucid – Wukong, Jarvan IV
- ShowMaker – Orianna, Annie
- Smash – Jhin, Corki
- Career – Karma, Anivia
KRX

- Ucal – Ryze, Aurora
- Lazyfeel – Ezreal, Yunara
- Andil – Neeko, Bard
T1 Returns to Form
T1 looked much better in their series against HLE. Their executions were cleaner, but not enough to say they are at top form. The reason why T1 won the series so dominantly was HLE’s mistakes. They overextended in unnecessary situations. HLE could have won the series 2-0, had they not made those mistakes. Kanavi overforced in game one, while Gumayusi went too aggressive on Yunara in game two. Peyz and Keria were the standouts, having improved drastically from their series against KT. Zeus tried his best in the series, being the only reason HLE had a chance to succeed.
DK Sweeps KRX Aside
While the second game of the series was close, it never seemed like DK was not in control. They had the advantage, even against a Chemtech Soul KRX. Lazyfeel subbing in did have an impact on the team’s performance. While he was not at fault for the loss, he was not as impactful as Jiwoo had been in the past. Game two’s result brings concern for DK. They once again threw away a lead that they should not have had. Against better teams, DK would have lost in a heartbeat.
