LCK 2026 Regular Season Week 2: T1 and Gen.G Battle Early

The first week of LCK action delivered multiple surprises. The second week is pivotal for every team. For some, they need to continue their winning trend. Others must steady the ship, while the rest are looking to hold on. The titans clash this week with T1 and Gen.G Esports facing off. The two surprising 2-0 teams will battle it out to determine who will win three series in a row.

Dplus KIA Versus Hanwha Life Esports

Prediction: HLE 2-1

Neither team was that impressive in their wins in the opening week. To make matters worse, their losses were due to mistakes they made in those games. It will be a battle of who shows up better on the day.

T1 Versus Gen.G Esports

Prediction: Gen.G 2-1

Surprisingly, this is the first meeting between the two teams in the LCK this year. It will be the first time that Ruler and Peyz face off in their careers, despite both being AD carries on Gen.G and JDG. Gen.G has performed better than T1, and they have the advantage over them in the LCK.

HANJIN BRION Versus KRX

Prediction: KRX 2-1

KRX should recover after their weak display in the first week. They are a team that has the potential to challenge anyone in the league. BRO, with Loki, seems better, following their dominant win over BFX. However, the LCK Cup second seed seems out of sorts.

KT Rolster Versus Nongshim Redforce

Prediction: KT 2-1

The last time these two teams met, NS denied KT’s attempt at a reverse sweep. Now they face off as the first and second-placed teams after the first week. It promises to be another close battle between teams on the rise.

DN SOOPers Versus T1

Prediction: T1 2-0

Many are down on T1 after their loss to KT. After KT also beat Gen.G, some relaxed on T1’s result. The win over HLE has won over some fans, but question marks remain. DNS could rise to the occasion, but they might also crumble.

Hanwha Life Esports Versus FearX

Prediction: BFX 2-1

At the start of the year, everyone would predict HLE in this series. After the LCK Cup, it would sway towards BFX. Now, there are question marks for both rosters. It is another series that could go either way.

Nongshim Redforce Versus KRX

Prediction: NS 2-0

Given the first week of play, NS has the advantage over KRX. However, as we have seen in the past, anything can happen with these teams. The last time they faced off, KRX crushed them 3-0 in the LCK Cup Play-Ins.

Dplus KIA Versus Gen.G Esports

Prediction: Gen.G 2-0

After Gen.G got back to winning ways, they should stabilize their form. When Gen.G returned from MSI last year, they lost to T1 in the series opener. Afterwards, they went on to win every match until the playoffs. They will likely do the same this time.

FearX Versus DN SOOPers

Prediction: BFX 2-1

If BFX returns to their LCK Cup form, this series could become a stomp. However, we need to see them drafting for their botlane, and their solo lanes must step up. Raptor will need to be wary of Pyosik if they want to keep DNS quiet.

HANJIN BRION Versus KT Rolster

Prediction: KT 2-1

All signs point towards KT dominating this series. But given their track record in recent years, predicting a dominant win for them feels impossible. They have often given their fans hope, only to lose to teams like BRO shortly after. If they maintain their form, they should comfortably win the series.
