The 100 is set in 2149, 97 years after a Nuclear war. During the bombings, those lucky enough to make it onto the Ark Station were sent to space to try and survive. This plan worked for those 97 years; however, the oxygen on the Ark space station is finally running out, and the Ark decides to send its young prisoners, 100 children under 18, down to Earth to see if it is livable. Lastly, this includes Clarke Griffin, the daughter of one of the Ark’s leaders and the show’s main protagonist.
The show follows Clarke and the other delinquents as they discover Earth for the first time and learn the dangers that lay ahead. Throughout all 7 seasons, the world of The 100 has excellent expansion and characters that develop and grow immensely. It also hits on a lot of the classic sci-fi tropes.

In the first episode, one of the main characters, Mike, meets Eleven, one of the children born through the MKUltra experiment. With the entrance of Eleven and her psychokinetic powers, strange things begin occurring throughout the town.
A monster called the Demogorgon takes Will Byers, a member of the DnD group, into the Upside Down, and he is presumed dead. In addition, others have also gone missing. The Boys is a refreshing take on the superhero world. It is a satirical take on the heroes we see in comic books. The heroes of this universe have been corrupted by fame and fortune. However, they care more about selling cereal boxes with their faces on them than saving people.
Throughout the show, a group of vigilantes form to fight against the hero group called The Seven, led by the most corrupt of all the heroes, Homelander, an apparent mockery of Captain America. Also, the vigilante group is made up of people who have personally been affected by The Seven’s uncaring attitude towards humanity. The show as a whole is action-packed, raunchy, and thrilling.
