Oddity is a film that follows a psychic medium who attempts to uncover the truth behind her sister’s murder at the scene of the crime. Directed by Damien McCarthy and starring Carol Bracken, Johnny French, and Steve Wall, the film received a 6.7 out of 10 on IMDb with 16,000 votes; however, Oddity received 96% on the Tomatometer for Rotten Tomatoes and 77% for the Popcorn meter. The critics’ consensus says, “An elegant and spooky ghost story punctuated with clever jolts, Oddity hews to the fundamentals of fright and achieves shout-inducing results.” Oddity is one of the horror films you won’t see very often on a watch list simply because not a lot of people know about it.
