Top Adam Sandler Movies Of All Time

Maybe you’re an Adam Sandler fan, and maybe you’re not. He may be a hated actor or have a ton of mixed reviews, but there are some of the movies he’s acted in that blew my expectations away when watching them. Even with a lot of backlash on his movies, these are three of the top movies that Adam Sandler starred in. These three movies might even change your opinion of the actor for the better.

’50 First Dates’

50 First Dates was one of the first movies I ever watched starring Adam Sandler. Released in 2004, the rom-com movie has a very cheesy and sweet plot about Henry (Adam Sandler) trying to get Lucy (Drew Barrymore) to fall in love with him each day that passes because she was in an accident that causes her to lose her short-term memory. Every day that happens in the movie is funny to watch because Lucy never remembers Henry and always has a different reaction to his antics to get her to talk to him.

Without trying to spoil the movie too much, it had a little bit of angst, but there was a happy ending with a little surprise. If this movie interests you, you can watch it on Hulu, Amazon Prime for $3.59, YouTube for $3.99, Apple TV for $3.99, and a couple of other services where you will have to pay for or have a subscription.

‘Just Go With It’ also has Adam Sandler in it

Just Go With It happens to be my favorite movie that stars Adam Sandler. He is also joined by Jennifer Aniston who herself is a great actor to watch in movies.

Adam Sandler plays a surgeon named Danny Maccabee, who gets himself into a fake divorced wife and family situation to get his dream girl. In this whole disaster he creates, he drags in Katherine Murphy (who Jennifer Aniston plays) and her two children, Maggie (Bailee Madison) and Michael (Griffin Gluck) in the frail. The whole fake family takes a turn when they end up stuck together in Hawaii for a vacation.

Definitely one of my favorites and can be found on Amazon Prime, YouTube, Apple TV, Google Movies and TV, or Fandango at Home. You do have to pay $3.99 on each site if you would like to watch it.

‘Murder Mystery’

Murder Mystery is one of Adam Sandler’s more recent movies. It came out in 2019, and the second part was released in 2023. This movie also happens to star Jennifer Aniston. As the title states, Nick Spitz (Adam Sandler) and Audrey Spitz (Jennifer Aniston) are a married couple who finally go on their honeymoon after years of being together. On the plane, a stranger invites Audrey and her husband, Nick, to the yacht with a few other rich people. And just like the title, a murder happens on the yacht. Nick Spitz is a cop who is lying to his wife about being a detective.

Not much can be said about the movie because the title gives away a bit, and any more will be more of a spoiler than what has already been said about it. But go check out Murder Mystery on Netflix if you want to know what happens and if mystery and comedy are your cup of tea.

Movie time

Out of all the movies to choose from, why these three? Well, they happen to be some of the better movies with Adam Sandler as an actor that I’ve watched. If you happen to look online, the rotten tomatoes and reviews for the movie are bad, but even then, bad movies can be good ones in disguise. Maybe these three Adam Sandler rom-coms are just the movies you are looking to watch during your movie nights.
